"𝕳i, sweetheart, oh you look dreadful" Theodore spoke with pursed lips, walking towards me in the hallway as I was making my way towards the great hall, my nose wrinkling up. I didn't sleep well last night, it was a full moon and I never slept well on full moons, especially not now. I had dark bags under my eyes, my shiny hair was scraped back into a messy ponytail with a few stray hairs framing my face, and I didn't put any effort in to my makeup, "Are you sick?"

"No, just tired" I told him, mustering up a small smile, his head nodding, sliding his hands into his pockets, I quirked an eyebrow as he just stared at me, pouting my lips together, "Are you alright, Theordore?"

"Yes, of course. Are you coming to breakfast?" He asked, my head nodding, the boy swivelling around and beginning to walk beside me, resting his hand on the small of my back as we walked towards the great hall, "How are your Owls going? I remember mine last year, it is better to start writing your revision notes now then nearer the time and I got all outstandings, except for Care of Magical Creatures and herbology, but they are useless"

"They're my favourite subjects" I countered, his eyebrows raising, turning to me though I kept my eyes straight forward,

"Yes, but they won't get me far in my future. That's okay for you, you can enjoy what subjects you like, it won't be a matter when you're older" He responded, my eyebrows knitting together, confusedly,

"Why not?"

"Because you won't be acquired to work, little badger. You're a girl, it is the man's duty to provide for the family and work in the ministry respectively" He answered nonchalantly, a sigh leaving my lips desperately not wanting to argue considering i'm tired, but that statement just ticked a nerve,

"And if I don't want to be a housewife? A woman can do as much as a man in a family, if I want to work, I will and should be able to with no questions asked" I replied, feeling his piercing gaze on the side of my face, the boy pulling me closer to him,

"Alright, and suppose you work, what would you be? A personal assistant? A herbologist? A matron?"

"These are all women gender influenced roles...suppose I want to be an auror? Or work as a curse breaker maybe a high inquisitor in the ministry. Women can get the same jobs and men and do them just as efficiently, Theodore" I scoffed, my patience growing rather thin, and i'm a Hufflepuff, i'm meant to have a lot of patience, "What if I wanted to be a magizoologist?"

"What and be like Newt Scamander? Wills, please that man is a fool" He snorted, causing me to pause abruptly, not knowing whether I wanted to cry, hit him or simply leave him all alone. My godfather is the most intelligent, compassionate person i've ever met, he's my world, he is not a fool.

"Yes, and be like Newt Scamander atleast he's passionate about what he does and isn't doing it for the importance of his name" I grumbled, pushing him away from me and storming off, leaving him dumbfounded in the corridor, my fists clenching as I turned left, simply heading to the hospital wing.
