𝕿he first couple of days back at Hogwarts were a continuous blur, well for our group anyway. The full moon had been as good as we could have hoped for, Remus only scratched himself a little before lulling himself into a sleep in the shrieking shack according to the surprised three boys. They were adamant it was because of my charm prior, he still felt the lasting effects and therefore drifted off to sleep, I wasn't so sure, I didn't think the wolf inside of him would succumb to my charm— either way I was extremely glad it wasn't too bad for him.

This year we would have less stress on us than last year because we wouldn't have Owls— Regulus would, but he's not at all panicked by the exams, he's exceedingly clever, he could pass with all outstandings without opening his book. Now though, we would be attending higher level classes, ready for our NEWTs, more homework, yes, but we didn't have to worry about exhausting revision and exams until next year. Our final year.

I'd skipped breakfast this morning to go to the owlery and post a letter to Newt, ending up getting side tracked as usual talking to the fat friar, meaning I went straight to DADA, strolling into the nearly empty classroom. I smiled whole heartedly, spotting the empty seat by some familiar mousy hair, wandering over and slipping into the seat beside him, placing my bag down, brushing my hair out of my face and turning to him, his head raising out of his book, grinning lazily at me when I whispered softly,

"Hi"

"Hi" He whispered back, placing his book down and closed, focusing his full attention on his girl, his eyes raking over her, soaking in the way her glowing hair was wavy and natural— absolutely perfect to him as it flicked in any direction it wanted to. He leaned forward, cupping her cheek as he pressed his lips to hers in greeting, relishing in the soft sigh at the feeling, leaving him to wonder against her lips, "You skipped breakfast?"

"Yeah, I got held up after I nipped to the Owlery. The fat friar loves to chat to me apparently" I responded simply, leaning back to let my eyes wander all over his face, his honey eyes much brighter and happier than they were a couple of days ago, and I couldn't be more glad. He sighed, clicking his tongue and shaking his head,

"Does the fat friar know you have a brilliant boyfriend, who would like to have breakfast with his girlfriend?"

"It must have slipped his mind, I'll be sure to tell him next time that he'll have to face my brilliant boyfriend's wrath" I teased, his head nodding in mock seriousness,

"He will, definitely" He hummed, uncontrollably cracking a grin when she laughed, his head spinning at the ringing sound, his hand reaching down into his bag beside him without leaving her eyes, making a noise of satisfaction when he pulled out a small bowl of fruit with a chopped lemon inside, his heart strings tugging inside of him when her smile widened, reaching to peck his cheek sweetly,

"Thank you, Casanova" I spoke in gratitude, unwrapping the film he had placed over it to prevent it all from spilling from his back, my eyes flickering up to him when I heard a munching sound, finding his sat munching on some of his half eaten toast, my eyebrow quirking as I stared at him.
