𝕬 rainy, breezy Autumnal day. One of Remus and I's favourite type of days. A day when you can snuggle up in knitted sweaters, light a candle and slump down in a private corner of the library, listening to the rain patter on the windows as we either did some work or read in a comfortable silence in each other's arms with no worries in the world. Or we would sneak off to our greenhouse, lay our accustomed blanket down on the floor and cuddle up to each other as the rain hailed down on the transparent house, creating a sense of serenity second to none.
For now though, we had classes and we happen to have potions next, the dungeons being especially cold today, even more so when my legs were bare from wearing just my skirt. I pouted my lips together, hugging my denim jacket closer to my body as we all waited for Slughorn's arrival to allow us in. I heard a chuckle, causing me to glance up, finding Remus grinning down at me from where he was stood beside me, the boy poking my cheek mischievously,
"Are you cold?" He asked her, spotting the goosebumps on her bare legs and the way she was rubbing them together. He eyes her pout, his heart betraying him as it melts at the sight of her, coloured eyes blinking up blankly at him. Blue was more distinctive today, he decides, it must be because of the darkness of the dungeons and the brightness of the light colour contrasted to the darkness of her chocolate one.
It's almost like a game he plays in his mind everyday with himself. Which eye looks brighter, more distinctive, more extraordinary. And Merlin does he love it. He loves her beautiful, unique eyes, he loves the way he can be transported into two completely different dimensions when he flickers between them, she's so special and unique, he adores it.
"No" I grumbled, frowning faintly and averting my eyes away as he carried on chuckling at me, playfully tugging at my hair, "Stop it....."
"Don't tell me you're still sour I ate the last piece of our chocolate" He murmured, a scowl taking over my face as I huffed, moving away when he tugged at my hair again, a groan falling from his lips, "Willow....."
"You're being very annoying right now, Remus, I hope you know that" I muttered, not meeting his eyes yet seeing his grin out of the corner of my eye, James snickering as he watched from my other side, "Stop doing that"
"I'm not doing anything" He claimed, just simply smiling at the girl as she huffed petty and pretended to be annoyed, though he could see her lips threatening to twitch. He had stolen the last piece of chocolate they were sharing to wind her up, and she was really taking it to heart, she's barely spoken two words to him in the hour, though she stayed near him the entire time, always in arms reach.
"You know exactly what you're doing, you bloody prat" I scoffed, him and James exchanging a mischievous glance, my nose wrinkling up when I realised what I had just set up for him, a bigger frown and pout on my face when he responded proudly,
"I'm not covered in blood so just loveable, gorgeous Casanova will suffice"
"Remus...." I whined quietly, rubbing my hands all over my face, both him and James laughing amusedly, causing me to elbow the bespectacled boy in the ribs harshly, satisfied when he grunted, clutching his side and sealing his lips together.
