𝕴 bit my lip to prevent myself for humming as I scanned the platform for a familiar face. It had been over three weeks since i'd last seen James, Sirius and Peter, even more for everyone else when they came for my birthday. I've seem Remus occasionally due to him living nearby, but sometimes I had to leave the cottage with Newt to help him if he was called somewhere, meaning I hadn't seen him in two weeks without the odd few hours.

The next full moon was going to be within a few days so the first week of being back at Hogwarts, meaning he was beginning to be more tired, more sick and more grumpy than usual. I didn't mind though, I can just love him more in these times and help him as best as I can, using my charm to soothe some of his pain.

I grimace at the next pair of eyes I meet, Gilderoy Lockhart eyeing me as though I was a piece of meet for him to devour. Clearly, he doesn't know how possessive and protective my boyfriend can be, especially in his time of the month. I've barely spoken to the blonde Ravenclaw three times in my whole years at Hogwarts, so to say I didn't find it flattering the way he was staring at me would be a huge understatement.

I looked to the other direction, smiling faintly when I spotted the three Lupins making the way through the platform, Lyall holding his trunks for him, Hope on his otherside, keeping him in the middle of them protectively, his eyebrows furrowed as he winced occasionally at the cheery buzz on the platform.

I immediately weaved through the families, some with first year students, others going back for their final year, the two older Lupins cracking a happy smile when they saw sight of me, though my eyes were trained on the boy in front on me. His eyes are droopy, his skin is sickly pale despite the summer freckles that had become apparent from his fairly tanned skin. His lips were chapped, and his hands were itching at his sides to clamp them over his ears to prevent.

My heart ached painfully in my chest for him when I stood in front of him, his eyelashes fluttering as he blinked down at me, slowly lifting his arms weakly around me, causing me to return the hug carefully, reaching up to my tip toes for him so he wouldn't have to bend down as much, as I softly whispered into his ear,

"Relax, i've got you, love"

The older couple blinked in awe when they watched the way their son's shoulders relaxed, melting into his girlfriend's arms, smiling a little as he nestled his head against hers. He's been rather snappy with them this morning, not that it was his fault, he couldn't help it, but now he's relaxed and he's even showing a smile despite what he was feeling. They quirked their eyebrows when they pulled away from the hug, the girl keeping her hands on his chest, flickering her eyes between his previously duller ones, asking,

"Is that alright?"

"Yeah, feels good, thank you" He murmured throatily, my head nodding as I smiled whole heartedly at him, keeping my hands on his chest before turning to his parents, confusion written on their faces until I spoke in a quiet tone,
