𝕴 hummed to myself, scanning over my appearance in the mirror, getting ready to go to Remus' cottage for dinner. I decided on wearing some blue straight leg jeans, flowing down to my brown converse, with a cream cable knit sweater, my platinum hair curled into soft waves with some mascara, lip gloss and blush on my cheeks. Simple but elegant.

Happy with my appearance, I padded out of my bedroom, towards the living room where I found Newt ready to apparate me to the cottage, his head raising from his book when I appeared, a soft smile etching its way onto his face, closing his book and standing up from his armchair, making his way towards me, a heavy sigh leaving his lips, shaking his head,

"When did you grow up?" He muttered, my lips tugging upwards, my heart warming in my chest, looking up at him,

"Don't worry, i'll still be a mooncalf next Halloween" I chirped, earning a chuckle from him, nodding in agreement, before we began making our way outside of the cottage to be able to apparate, his hand slipping into mine, my head nodding when I was ready, feeling him immediately apparate us away, being sucked through a tube before landing firmly on some grass in front of a cottage similar to our house, the star's shining brightly in the winter sky.

"I'll see you later, Lilo. Be good" He murmured, squeezing my arm when I nodded, smiling at him before apparating away. I walked forward towards the door, feeling my heart beat quicken for reasons beyond my understanding, taking a moment before knocking on the door, waiting for a few moments, closing my eyes briefly.

Remus gulped, once again looking at his appearance in the mirror, feeling a nervous pit in his stomach at the thought of seeing the girl, his heart racing in his chest. He sighed, running a hand through his mousy hair again, groaning when it flopped back down on his forehead, his face scrunching up. He froze when he heard a gentle knock on the door, causing him to practically run from his room, grabbing his mum's hand before she opened the door, her eyebrows raising at him,

"Let me do it, and for the love of merlin, please please don't-"

"Embarrass you in front of the pretty girl who's just a friend?" She teased, though sighing at the pleading look on her son's face, nodding her head reluctantly, "We'll wait in the living room....acting normal"

"Please, when are you ever normal?" He mumbled under his breath when she laughed lightly, walking away from him and into the living room, the mousy haired boy taking a deep breath and closing his eyes to compose himself, nodding to himself when he reached for the door handle. He can do this. He cursed under his breath, opening the door eventually to reveal the blonde girl herself, his lips parting at the sight, his heart roaring in his ears, so much so he almost forgot to speak, his throat unimaginably tight.

She was as beautiful as always, like the sunsetting over a hill with a warm glow on a summer evening, filling the sky of majestic colours, pink, purple and orange, or the beauty of snow topped forest trees in the middle of the woods on a winters day, the perfect combination of red, green and amber levels decorating the ground on cool autumnal day, even the fresh vibrant flowers  sprouting from the ground along with the cherry blossoms on the trees in early spring. She was all of that, he was sure of it, her beauty stretched widely in every way possible.
