"𝕿ell me about it...." I pleaded, twirling the ends of my braid around my fingers as I rested on the floor of the corridor, leaning against the wall.

"The Christian faith centers on beliefs regarding the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. While it started with a small group of adherents, many historians regard the spread and adoption of Christianity throughout the world as one of the most successful spiritual missions in human history...."

He initiated, floating back and forth in a pacing manner in front of the veela, a passionate and excited expression on his ghost face due to the girl wanting to really talk to him contrasted to the short and pleasant conversations he has with the other students. He does always get a wave and a chirpy smile from a Hufflepuff especially, but no one's really ever made time for him to explain the faith he devoted his life to.

"We believe God sent his son Jesus, the Messiah, to save the world. They believe Jesus was crucified on a cross to offer the forgiveness of sins and was resurrected three days after his death before ascending to heaven..."

"And correct me if i'm wrong...Jesus was the son of the Virgin Mary, who had the Angel Gabriel appear to her and inform her she was to bear God's child, and he would be the Saviour of the world?" I asked thoughtfully, remembering something I had read about the muggle religion in the past, the widening smile on his lips conveying the answer for me, his hands clapping together,

"Yes! Yes! He was born on Christmas day, December 25th, that's where the holiday originated. It's his birthday...Christ-Mass" He explains giddily, my eyebrows raising in interest, peering to the symbolic cross hanging around his neck on a chain, my lips twitching, pointing it out,

"And the cross is the Christian symbol, like the crucifix he was nailed to, to sacrifice himself for our sins as you've mentioned before"

"You know much more about my religion than you let on, Willow. Are you practicing the faith?" He wonders, stopping short in front of me and glancing down to me as I tucked my knees up to my chest, shaking my head,

"I'm not sure how to even practice a faith like yours. Aren't there tests or inductions i'd have to complete?"

He chuckled, clasping his hands together and stating in a preaching yet soft tone, "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. We lead our lives believing rather than seeing, that is the ultimate test, Miss Bellamy, if one can believe without sight"

"That's fairly interesting, you know? It's almost like putting your faith and trust in people without knowing the outcome, almost stemming from your own morals in perceiving the person. Like yearning out for a bonded trust without seeing the future, in your case, believing in Jesus and God without knowing what might happen as a product of your faith"
