𝕽emus hums to himself, glimpsing down at his watch to check the time, knowing the Hufflepuff would be arriving any moment for them to work on their potions assignment together.
Usually he would read his book to pass time but today he couldn't, not when he knows Willow is coming, excitement contrasted to his nerves build up in his stomach, being pumped around the body in his veins. He looks down to his lap where her initial lays in the heart she drew, feeling his own flutter again at the mere thought of the girl. It's pathetic and it's ridiculous how soft and mellow he is for her, but he doesn't care, he really likes Willow and it's never going to change.
He looks up when he feels the mood shift like it did in the common room when she entered, his heart hammering in his chest at the sight of the veela heading towards him in the most adorable Hufflepuff sweater, which happened to be quite big and oversized on her. He grins lazily when she approached closer, sliding into her seat beside him, placing her bag down and turning to him when he whispered throatily,
"Hi"
"Hi" I whispered back, scanning my eyes over his face, feeling my heart warm immediately from being in his presence again, safe and protected when I'm around him, it's always been the same. I hummed quietly leaning over and pressed my lips to the button of his nose, his eyes fluttering closed when I shifted slightly, pecking his lips sweetly.
He smiled faintly when I drew back, his hand reaching up and cupping her cheek whilst she blinked at him with warm cheeks, his mind compelling him to bring her towards him again, his lips planting a kiss on her nose, leaving his lips lingering for a few moments before nuzzling his head against hers, revelling in being able to be close and affectionate with her the way he wants to with no worries in the world.
I giggled when he began peppering kisses all over my face wherever he could, butterflies dancing in my stomach from his actions, even more so when I flitted my eyes open to see his honey orbs, his head tilting the side with his stupid lazy grin, leaning forward and resting our foreheads together, uncontrollable smiles on our faces when our noses grazed, my hand sliding on his chest, feeling the fabric of his knitted sweater.
"I'm going to the greenhouses when we're done to look over the plants, do you want to come?" I asked quietly, pushing my forehead further into his, him nudging my nose when his before muttering,
"I'm awful at herbology"
"You're not that bad" I told him, retreating back a bit but saying close as he sent me a flat look, before cracking another grin when I just blinked at him, his other hand finding mine, holding it gently whilst smoothing his thumb over my knuckles,
"I'm an abomination to nature, Willow, there's no balance. The plants hate me, always have done and always will" He groaned, my eyes rolling playfully at his dramatics, squeezing his hand,
"The only thing the plants have against you is that you think you're an abomination to nature. I think if you give them a chance, they'll give you one too" I suggested, his eyebrow raising,
