𝕽emus exchanged a confused glance with Marlene across from him, both he and the Scottish witch having noted the peeved yet smug expression flashing across their hufflepuff's face as she stares as a family portrait of the Potters nailed to the wall ahead.

The celebrations and thrill of the news for the engagement between James and Regulus had been most uplifting for everyone for the past couple of weeks, but now they were back to Order business, back to missions and fighting, back to the Wizarding War that had only progressed with darkness in the year 1979.

"I desperately want to know what's going through that little candyfloss brain of hers. We're magic, why isn't there a spell or ability to read minds yet?" The blonde huffed to the werewolf, his eyebrows merely raising, retorting,

"Helga, I know, it's almost as if legilimency doesn't exist anymore!"

Marlene paused with a frown, jabbing Dorcas in the stomach when she snorted hearing the comment, Remus' lips quirking into his own mischievous grin when the girl realised and wrinkled her nose up, offering instead,

"Okay, okay, legilimency, right? But she probably knows occumlency, there needs to be an easier way"

"You could just ask her what she's thinking about. She looks pissed, yet she's smirk successfully....very strange" Mary piped up when she slipped into her chair at the table, the usual meeting room filling up with the Order members.

Remus ran a hand through his sandy locks, looking towards his wife with a thoughtful expression, replying honestly towards the girls, "Everything about her is weird and strange, she likes that. Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary?"

"Of course you'd think she's extraordinary, she's your wife and your absolutely bloody smitten" Lily snickered, also having tuned into the conversation, Remus' cheeks warming, however shrugging his shoulders with a lopsided smile.

"Here you go, my love!" James chirped, snapping me from my trance as he places a steaming cup of hot chocolate in front of me in my designated 'W', flowered mug, a sweet smile fleeting across my lips as I nodded in appreciation,

"Shit— how many people do you have wrapped around your finger?" Marlene quizzed when I laced my fingers around the cup, raising it up to take a sip when my eyes met her green ones, answering once placing it back down,

"Depends. Are you wrapped around my finger too?"

She scoffed, waving me off as though I had asked her the most stupid question known to man. Dorcas turned to her incredulously, the blonde's expression faltering, about to clamp her hand over the Ravenclaw's mouth, thought it was too late and Dorcas already squawked,

"You said yesterday if Willow divorced Remus you'd marry her any day of the week and leave me!"

Sirius, hearing the revealing comment as he sauntered over, slipped into the other seat beside me with waggling eyebrows, a smirk twisting at his lips as he claimed,
