𝕿he Christmas holidays were flying by quicker than any of us anticipated it was going to be, the group of us spending the days creating chaos in the empty castle, lighting it up with the eternal joy of the season.
On the very festive day of December 25th, we opened gifts in the Gryffindor common room all together, exchanging thanks and laughs as we all stumbled around in our matching pyjamas all of the parents grouped together to send us the night before when we all slept in the Marauders dorm.
Red and cream plaid bottoms, with a matching cream long sleeve, Scarlette and I's being a ribbed material and more fitted than the boys' were. We still all matched nevertheless and managed to run around the hallways in them to take photographs with Mcgonagall, Sprout, Madame Pomfrey and any teacher we liked and could find. Even Dumbledore managed to sneak in one, expressing his liking for the comfortable loungewear, though Regulus did argue with the point, 'they are red'. He still liked matching with us, even if he didn't admit it. We all knew.
An enormous roast dinner, Christmas crackers with hats, jolly songs and carols, lazy and merry dancing around together....the day was an absolute dream. We were happy we made the decision to spend our last Christmas at the castle.

"Sirius, what are you doing?" The girl barked out, as the both of us spied the boy glaring at the board, pressing his fingers to his temples as though he was going to move it with his mind,
"Quite obviously, he's being the half wit— sorry, no, pureblood half wit he is" Remus muttered, glancing up from his book to see the boy, and briefly wandering his eyes to his girlfriend discreetly, holding back a dreamy sigh when she laughed heartily at something Scarlette had whispered in her ear, the both of them clinging to each other humorously.
"Sod off, i'm trying to concentrate, and I can't do that with all you prats trying to distract me! I know you're game, i'm smarter than you think!" Sirius cries out, snapping him from his trance, now realising Willow was staring back at him with a toothy smile, his cheeks blushing and sending her a warm smile back.
"Yes, Sirius, because we all find pleasure in having you as our main focus our entire lives. Hate to break it to you brother, you're not that important" Regulus piped up, tilting his head back when James leaned down to kiss his forehead affectionately, keeping his eyes on the paper,
