Before anything else, I just want to congratulate myself for finally finishing a novel. Congrats, self! After several attempts, you finally finished one. I'm proud of you! You can finally call yourself a writer now!
To the one reading this, thank you so much for your time. Thank you for giving this story a chance. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you so much for reading my work. It was one hella long-read so thank you for reaching the last page.
Salamat sa pagsama hanggang sa huling pahina.
I actually didn't expect this novel to be this long. Honestly, the story could have ended smoothly at chapter 50 or 60 (though I planned to end it at chap 40); but then, I couldn't get enough of Avien and Kiel. I enjoyed writing them soooo much. I got so carried away and so attached to them that I ended up writing too many filler scenes and sticking up to my original plan for its ending, extending it up to chapter 65.
But it was worth a write!
Writing this had become my escape, my rest, my happy pill. I genuinely laughed and had a good cry with the characters. I hope you did as well.
All I really want is for this novel to be your breather but my heart would be even more glad if you also learned something from this, because I did. Unexpectedly, I did learn and realize a lot while writing this.
So, to my baby Avien and Kiel, thank you for helping me grow. I will miss you both sobra-sobra.
