Is this what you call love?

After my mom leaves, I join Chan and Felix in the kitchen to eat some food.

"I didn't think she was gonna find out that quick" Chan says as I sit down with my plate.

"She thought it was my dad but I told her it was me that made that charge in their account but good news, she said I can go back again" I smile then start eating.

"What's your reason for going back?" Chan furrows his brows.

"Judy is still nice. I thought maybe I can spend time with her then after so many visit then I can ask for her real name then we can see each other outside of that place" I say.

"We can find a different place for you to find a female friend, Ryu" Chan speaks in a soft manner.

"But I already met Judy. Lucy didn't work out because she didn't want to try but Judy was nice. If Judy says no then I'll go to your next place. Is it another bar?" I ask.

"Do you two have female friends except for me?" I ask the both of them.

"A lot" Chan answers.

"Some. Not as much as Chan" Felix says.

"See, I'm the only one without female friends so I should have some. Not some. Maybe one because I'm not sure if there's major differences between males and females when it comes to friendship."

"Okay, we will go back so you can befriend Judy" Felix shakes his head.

"But you're not allowed to have more male friends unless we approve of them, got it?" Chan goes to his father figure mode.

"Why?" I question.

"A lot males have weird intentions at times when befriending a female" he explains.

"Why are we saying male and female instead of just a man and a woman?" Felix ask.

"I don't know. Ryujin started it" Chan quickly defends himself.

"I'm doing laundry today, do you want me to wash your towels" Felix changes the subject and I shake my head.

"No, thank you. I have to make sure the towels get washed separately. You might just combine them all together" I say.

"I mean they're towels so if they're combined, they will still come out clean" Felix tries to argue. We have this conversation about once a month.

"Yes but still rinses in the same water. So I would prefer my body towels along with my body towels, face with face and hair with hair."

"You have so much body towels though" Felix points out.

"That's because one is for upper body and one is for my lower body" I explain but I don't think they get it.

I'm actually a very particular person. I can't touch certain things because it makes me cringe. Certain foods can't touch each other when I'm eating so sometimes I need more than one plate for my food.

"Oh, I got you something" Chan remembers and stands up to get it.

"It's your favorite" he comes back with golden kiwis.

"I've been craving this. Thank you" I clap my hands before taking it.

"I remembered that you prefer the gold kiwis over the green ones because the skin is softer" he smiles like a proud dad.

"I do and gold kiwis are sweeter" I hug my kiwis.

"I've never met anyone who eats kiwis with their skin" Felix chuckles.

"It's the only way to eat a kiwi. Where have you been?" I act like he's a weirdo.

"I'm going to take a shower. That's where I'm going now to exit this kiwi conversation" Felix chuckles before leaving to go to his room.
