"I wonder if Ryujin is gonna come today?" I ask my friends while we walk to the bus stop.
"Why? Would you be sad if she's not?" Lia says in a teasing manner.
"Shut up, Lia" I roll my eyes. We make it to the bus stop and we're waiting now.
All four of us are actually working today.
"So where did you two go last night?" Chaeryeong ask Yuna and Lia.
"We just hung out since we both had the day off" Yuna answers while looking down.
"Yea, we can't hang out? Is that what you're trying to say?" Lia gets defensive.
"Calm down, were just asking" Chaeryeong says.
The bus arrive so we get in it. Lia and Yuna sit together so I sit down next to Chaeryeong.
"Are those two dating?" I ask.
"Who knows" Chaeryeong doesn't seem to show interest.
"I'm more interested about you asking if Ryujin is gonna show up today" she has a smirk on her face now.
"Not you too" I shake my head.
"Come on. That was so random" she says.
"I'm just curious. I can't be curious?" I furrow my brows.
I honestly didn't mean to ask that question out loud. It was supposed to be me just wondering if I'll see Ryujin today. I'm curious to learn more about her.
The ride to work is quiet. I listen to music in my phone and so does Chaeryeong. Yuna and Lia are sleeping. I then think about my future again. Maybe what Mingyu is offering isn't so bad now because at least I don't have to worry about my future.
We arrive at our stop and we walk the rest of the way to work.
"Hey Jihyo" I say while walking in the back room.
"Yeji, are you in a good mood today?" She ask.
"I'm in an okay mood, why?"
"You're already fully booked" she informs me and a part of feels hopeful that it will be an easy day because last time that I was booked, it was because of Ryujin.
Since I know what she is like now then I wouldn't feel uncomfortable around her anymore.
"Really? By who?" I ask, still feeling hopeful.
"Mingyu" my smile disappears.
I sigh, "Really? I have to be with him for six hours?"
"I thought you would be happy?" Jihyo seems confuse.
"It's fine" I say.
"She's not happy because she probably expected Ryujin" Yuna teases me so I glare at her.
"Oh, she didn't come in today. I expected her to but I guess she changed her mine" Jihyo states.
"She's probably the best customer we've ever had" Jihyo comments.
"Why?" Lia ask.
"Last night, she gave me a handmade keychain before she left" she smiles and I frown.
I thought that keychain was special and only for me.
She takes out the keychain out of her pocket and I smile again. Hers doesn't have a nickname and it doesn't look as good as mine.
I internally slap myself because what's wrong with me? Why would I be unhappy that she gave someone else a keychain and why would I be happy to find out that mine is better?
