"What the hell happened back there?" Steve asked as they drove to his house.

Y/n sighed and shook her head "Will, I told you, he gets these episodes." She said "I've only seen two of them, but that one seemed different."

"What kinda episodes?" Steve questioned frowning "Like from last year?" He asked.

"Yeah, from what Joyce told my dad, it's about him being back in the upside down." Y/n explained.

Steve let out a breath "Jesus....do you think something like last year is gonna happen?" He asked.

Y/n stayed silent, hesitant on telling Steve what the boys had shown her. That creature was from the upside down, no doubt about that. But they didn't know exactly what it was, maybe Dustin was right maybe it wasn't harmful. How could something so small, sorta, cause any damage.

"Y/n?"

Shaking herself from her thoughts, she coughed "I hope not." She answered.

Steve looked at her oddly "Are you okay?" He asked.

Y/n nodded "Yeah, all good." She said, even though her anxiety of what could happen was running wild.

Y/n drove home on the long road, the sky was dark and the moon was out. Thankfully the cabin was a bit aways fron Hawkins, it gave her time to think alone. She had ended up staying at Steve's for a bit, before heading out.

Music played quietly, and Y/n tapped her fingers to the wheel following the beat as best she could. It was hard to see down the road, but a little ways down she could make out a small figure. Confused she slowed down to see if she was hallucinating or something. She wasn't. A familiar short haired girl was walking down the road, and Y/n's eyes went wide.

Suddenly Y/n skidded to a stop next to someone, her eyes wide. She leaned over and opend the passenger door "Eleven! What the hell are you doing, get in." She exclaimed.

Eleven silently got into the car, slamming the door. She crossed her arms, and slumped in the seat. Y/n sighed and sped off towards the house, she reached over and turned the music off.

"Why were you out of the house?" Y/n questioned, but she got no answer "El, do you understand how mad dad is gonna be?" She asked.

"You lie." Eleven simply said.

Y/n glanced at her confused "What?" She asked.

"You lie!" Eleven said loudly "You said that Mike missed me, that he wasn't friends with another girl."

"What? El he does miss you.....wait a minute, did you see him with Max?" Y/n asked her eyes wide "Did you sneak out, and go to the school?!" She exclaimed.

"Who is...Max?" El asked.

"You didn't answer my question." Y/n said glancing at her, turning down the dirt path to the cabin "Did you go to the school?"

"Yes."

"Eleven!" Y/n scolded as she slowed down, coming close to the cabin.

"No one saw me." Eleven said shrugging.

Y/n shook her head as she pulled up to the cabin, and she could see her dad on the porch smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer. And she could see how pissed he looked when he saw them. Y/n turned her car off, as Eleven got out and walked towards the cabin.
