"It was here. Right here." Max said as the group, now joined by Robin and Nancy stared at a blank wall.

Max had began explaining what she saw, while she was in the odd trance she had been in. Y/n frowned "A grandfather clock?" She asked again, still so confused.

Max stares at the wall and slowly nods "It was so real." She said "And then, when I got closer, suddenly I just....I woke up."

Steve sighed "You gave us a heart attack." He said "Your eyes were like glazed over and everything." He tries to explain.

Dustin hummed "It was like she was in a trance or something." He said "Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy."

Y/n's eyes go wide "May-maybe this one is different?" She said hopefully.

Max shakes her head and looks back "Thats not even the bad part." She says lowly, before walking away.

"What, are we just getting left with a cliffhanger?" Steve asks shaking his head, and following after her.

Robin groans "God, I really hate thoes." She mumbles.

Y/n rolls her eyes "You two are insane." She mumbles, as they enter Ms. Kelley's office again."

"Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Miss Kelley for help." Max begans opening up both files, "Uh, they both were having headaches, bad headaches that wouldn't go away."

Y/n walks over to the desk, and looks down at both files. She skims through the two, seeing several similarities in each file. Fred and Chrissy were two completely different people, yet they had quite a lot in common.

"And then...then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in a cold sweat. Then they started seeing things." Max continues to explain.

"What kinda things?" Y/n asks looking up.

"Bad things. From their pasts. And these visions they just....they kept on getting worse and worse, until eventually...everything ended." Max said her voice breaking near the end.

Robin looks up "Vecna's curse." She says.

"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago. Freds, six days ago." Max said pausing, she clears her throat "I've been having them for five days."

Y/n's hear dropped, and she looked over at Steve who was already looking at her. He was standing up straighter, looking from Y/n back to Max. Steve brought his hand up to his mouth, a look of worry etched on his face.

"I don't know how long I have. All I know is that, for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision." Max said her eyes pooling with tears, "And I just saw that goddamn clock, so......looks like I'm gonna die tomorrow."

Y/n shakes her head "No, no fucking way." She said shakily, "I'm not letting you die, we aren't letting you die."

Steve nods "Y/n's right." He said "We're gonna-"

A distant clang rang through the halls, making everyone look towards the door frozen. Someone else was there with them. Steve looks back at everyone "Stay here." He says, grabbing a long lamp and walking out of the room.

Y/n rolls her eyes, and follows after Steve completely ignoring his request. But Y/n wasn't the only one, everyone else followed after them.

"I thought I told you to stay back." Steve says in a whisper, as they all walk down the hall.

"And how many times have I told you, I don't, and never will listen." Y/n whispers back rolling her eyes.

Steve scoffs and adjusts his grip on the lamp, as they made their way furthet down the hall. They stood near a corner as more clattering could be heard, along with quick footsteps. Someone, or something, was running down the hall. Whoever it eas rounded the corner, making Steve lift up his lamp with a scream. Which cause a chain reaction, and everyone else screamed. Steve didn't swing the lamp, once he saw what it was.
