"Okay, you guys seeing this?" Dustin's voice echoed throughout Nancy's room.

Dustin had seen the SOS. And now the group of five were upstairs in Nancy's room, crouded on one edge of her bed. Talking to Dustin, Lucas, and Erica through the lights. Nancy put her hand in the glowing area, moving it back and forth.

"Holy shit!" Erica exclaimed as Dustin's happy laugh echoed with it.

"We're not moving it, but we're unplugging it. Stand by!" Dustin's voice echoed as the glow dimmed slightly, "Okay, try it now!"

Nancy hesitantly put her hand in the area, and it glowed a little more as she did. She then drew out the word 'hi', it sat there then disappeared.

"That worked!" Dustin shouted, after greeting them.

"Wicked!" Y/n said happily.

"Yes! Yes!" Eddie said happily, and then let go and leaned forward "Hi!" He exclaimed before moving back.

"Okay, uhm." Nancy said before putting her hand back, writing out the word 'stuck'.

"Stu....stupid?" The three asked each other.

"Ohh stuck."

"Yes we are." Eddie said

"Oh, okay they're stuck in the upside down." Lucas said.

"Uh, you can't get back through watergate?" Dustin asked.

"What the hell is watergate?" Steve asked as the five exchanged looks.

"'Cause it's in the water, and it's a gate." Robin said looking at Steve like he was an idiot.

"Yeah, like the demo-dogs." Y/n said "Ooo we can do that with the bats too, Demo-bats."

"Ohhhh." Steve and Nancy said in an understanding tone.

"That's cute." Eddie said nodding his head.

Nancy looked back "No. Uh, it's....." She then began writing out the word 'guarded'.

The three sat there for a minute, each of them taking turns to figure out the word. Till it finished "Guarded." Lucas said.

"Okay, so uh, watergate is guarded." Dustin said sighing.

"Perfect. Yes. Yes. Yes." Steve said happily as Eddie clapped his hands.

"Okay, uh, we think we have a theory that can help with that." Dustin said.

Y/n sighed in relief "Oh thank." She said "I need out of here now." She stressed.

"Yesss." Eddie said smiling.

"Genius child." Robin said happily.

"We think that watergate isn't the only gate. We think that theres a gate at every murder sight." Dustin said.

"Does anybody understand what he's talking about?" Nancy asked.

"No."

"Nope."

"No idea."

Y/n didn't answer, just stared at the ground with a small frown. She was lost in her thoughts, thinking over what Dustin said. Nancy sighed and then drew a question mark.

Dustin groaned very loudly and dramatically "Okay. Seriously, guys!" He shouted "How many times do I have to be right on the money before you trust me!?" He shouted in irritation.

"Jesus christ. This kid needs to get his ego in check." Steve said shaking his head.

"It's his tone. Right?" Eddie said leaning to look at Steve.
"I know. It's crazy." Steve said sighing.
