Description:
User can summon an invisible sword.
When the sword passes through any living being, the sword will cause an excruciating pain.
Only the user can see the sword.
User can swing the sword around as they wish.
Should the user not be able to see the sword directly, the user will be able to see its contrasting outline.
Drawbacks:
The sword cannot interact with anything physically.
Only works on things that can feel pain.
Extra Notes:
Sword size, shape, and design depend on the user.
Known existences correspond to the most prominent design of what the user thinks a sword should be at the awakened age.
According to test subjects, the pain feels like a fire being set inside you, burning you alive.
Beings numb to pain will still feel pain. Only things that cannot feel pain in the first place will not feel it. Perhaps to do with the pain receptors? Needs further research.
