Quirk: Invisible Exploding Needles
Emitter
Description:
User can throw an indefinite amount of needles.
The needles themselves are invisible until they are embedded into something.
When the user does a throwing motion, the first solid thing in a straight line will have a needle embedded into it.
The needle will imbed into the object, no matter how unbreakable it is.
The needle will always go in 1mm, or half the objects thickness, whichever is thinner.
The needle will explode half a second after being embedded.
The explosion has the power of a firecracker.
User can think of a number when throwing for that many needles to be embedded into the target.Drawbacks:
User must not be holding anything during the throwing motion.
User must make a full throwing motion to cause the quirk to work.Extra Notes:
Amount limited to 5.
The landing pattern is close to the dive face of the corresponding number.
Needles themselves seem to be made of a tungsten-based alloy and is a circular cone, 0.5mm in diameter, and 3cm long.
Users can seemingly summon needles when not throwing, but they cannot be interacted with.
Needles fly through the air in a straight line at varying speeds, depending on the closest item.Tests:
User with lose finger could only throw 4. Growth quirk caused 3 more fingers to grow, and user could throw 7.
User threw needles at target 100m away. Needles moved at 400m/s.
User threw at target 500m away. Needles moved at 2km/s.
User threw at target 1km away. Needles moved at 4km/s.
User threw into space. Needles moved at immeasurable speeds.
User threw needles at a Absolute Defence (25) user while transformed. Marks from the needle penetration remained.
Throwing the needles into the same holes resulted in no more depth. Conclusion:
Users needle limit is corresponding to the number of fingers they have.
Any amount above 6 just repeats the dice roll slightly to the side.
Users thrown needles travel at 4x the distance to the next solid object every second.
After penetrating the object, the holes will remain.
After pushing a hole in, the needles will not go any deeper.
