"Ma'am I just wanted to show you some reports"

"Oh Teja, come , meet Dr Shruti, she returned from London yesterday, after completing her intership " Dr Suman told Teja.

"Also, she is my daughter."

"Oh, hi , it's really nice meeting you "Teja said

"Same here "

"Teja, i was thinking of coming to the practice camp today, so I will join you there in an hour "

"Sure ma'am"

In an hour Dr Suman along with Dr Shruti reached the practice camp. Shruti met everyone,   but Karan grabbed her attention.

Though Karan didn't talk to her much . Throughout the day Shruti kept observing Karan and at the end of the day came to a conclusion that she liked Karan as a person and wanted to talk to him more .

She even tried initiating conversations but Karan kept them short. He seemed to be more comfortable with Teja.

Dr Suman saw her daughter lost in deep thoughts so decided to ask her what she was thinking. Being really close to her mother, Shruti told her mother everything.

"He doesn't talk much anyhow, but try talking to him , I'm sure he will love your company" Dr Suman said assuring her daughter.

But even the next day Karan didn't talk much to Shruti.

"I don't know mom , i guess he doesn't like me. "

"He is there to practice beta, he won't just keep talking to people na"

"Yaa , and most of the time he is with Dr Tejasswi, how will he have time for me." Shruti said nonchalantly .

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing, they are just always together."

Dr Suman was a sensible lady , but the mother in her really wanted to help her daughter out. So she decided to talk to Teja.

"Teja you know, it has been years now to me in this field. So I can tell you by my experience that you should never get attached to your patient. It makes the whole treatment process a bit complicated as our emotions are involved. You are getting what I'm trying to say right"

"Yes ma'am" Teja said ,not understanding why was Dr Suman telling her this things. They shared a nice bond ,but never talked about such things.

" Specially when you treat celebrities. Celebrities are in general very good in having conversations, they have their aura which attracts us, but as doctors we should never take this things in other way . I mean they will talk to us nicely, give us respect but that doesn't mean we are their friends. I know so many celebrities but none of them is my friend.
I saw that you are getting attached to Karan, and as a senior, I just wanted to warn you."

" No ma'am, we just talk normally, as I do with everyone"Teja tried to defend herself.

"I'm not yet done Teja. I said what I felt, and I don't want to know what kind of relationship you guys share. I gave you an advice and it's upon you to take it or not"

"Yes ma'am" Teja said,as she didn't even know what else to say.

"Also no need of going to the practice camp from tomorrow, you came here to learn and I don't think that you are learning much over there. Dr Shruti is here , hand over the reports to her , she will look after the players."

" Okay "

" I don't want to dictate you Teja, but it's really important for us to know that we should keep our personal and professional life separate. I'm just concerned for you "

" Ofcourse ma'am I know that, and I can't thank you enough for being their to guide me .

The next day Dr Shruti went to the practice camp.

"Hi Karan, good morning"

"Hi Shruti, good morning. You here"

"Yes , actually mom asked me to be here"

"Umm what about Dr Tejasswi, she will also come right"

"Umm ......I don't think so"

"Ok, bye" saying this Karan left. He was not interested in taking to Shruti. He just wanted to know that Teja is fine.

"Good morning Teja "

"I heard that you are not coming today "

"Everything alright?" Karan messaged her.

Teja saw Karan 's messages and wanted to reply him , but something stopped her .

'He is just being a nice person Teja . No need of talking to him much. Do not let him enter your personal space "
"Yes " she replied and kept her phone away.

She felt really bad doing this. She liked talking to him, and somewhere she realised that she really did get attached to him.
Seeing such a short reply he felt wierd , but was fine knowing that she was  okay.

The entire day felt really incomplete to both Teja and Karan. Talking to each other very soon became their most favourite pastime. Karan tried to call her ,but Teja did not answer.
On the other side Teja was feeling miserable ignoring Karan.

Meanwhile Shruti never used to miss any chance of talking to Karan, though most of the time Karan used to end up talking about Teja.

" Were you and Karan already friends" Shruti asked to Teja, when she returned to the hospital.

"No , why?" Teja asked bewildered .

" He just keeps talking about you" Shruti said with a chuckle.

" I hope it's nothing bad"

"Bad, he is all praises for you, but we'll deserved, you are truly good at your work"

She was not this delighted from the time she stopped going to the camp. Knowing that Karan praises her even when she is not around made her really happy. Still she continued ignoring him.

"Do you think Teja has blocked me " karan asked Ruturaj.

"Haha why do you think so"

"She has not answered any of my texts or calls from the last two days"

"She must be busy yaar"

"I know, but earlier she used to reply me  with atleast three words , but that also has stopped now"

"What three words?" Ruturaj asked, almost jumping from his place.

"I am fine" Karan answered with a duh face

Ruturaj laughed and said "ok let me text her."

*notification*

"She replied to you right ,now I'm sure that she has blocked me" Karan said as soon as Ruturaj 's phone pinged with Teja's reply

"She replied to you too right, you just think a lot Karan"

"But see she replied you with a smile, but not me"

"What's wrong with you Karan. Itna kya pyar me pagal hona, you know na that we have to leave for Australia in the next two days. I hope that you are mentally fit."

"Shut up" Karan didn't say anything more, and left.

' exactly I'm leaving for Australia in the next two days, before going i just wanted to see her and talk to her, but I don't think she wants the same ' Karan thought sadly .
