"So what are your plans after you go back to Mumbai." Kirti asked Teja while the three of them were having their breakfast.

"I think that there will be a bit of college work, but that won't take a lot of time. Then after getting the degree I will apply for job in some hospitals that I have already shortlisted . But before everything else I have a family function to attend, so I will visit my native place and I was also thinking of staying there for a while."

"That's amazing. It's been long that you have not met your family right."

"Yes , and that's why I am really excited, it will be like a get together for us."

"What function is it basically" Kirti asked.

"A cousin's wedding"

"Is your outfit decided" Kirti asked with excitement.

"I saw a few options, but didn't decide yet." Teja then showed Kirti the pictures of a few outfits when Karan's mom joined them.

"Why don't you wear a saree , it's your cousin's wedding afterall." Karan's mom said.

Karan chocked after listening to what his mom said. Teja saw him and shook her head and Kirti chuckled.

"Karan carefull" his mom said and looked at Teja waiting for her answer.

"I don't really like wearing a saree. I wore it only at really close persons wedding, though this relative is also pretty close, but not wearing a saree will not look odd "

Karan's mom nodded and asked, "what about you , thought of getting married."

This question shocked everyone. Karan glared at his mom for asking such question and Kirti was trying to control her laugh looking at her brothers situation.

"Umm... not yet aunty" Teja somehow managed to answer.

"Not yet" Karan suddenly spoke in a questioning tone , "Mom she is ready for arrange marriage" he said to his mom and stared at Teja with a smirk.

Teja stared back at him angrily when Karan's mom asked, "So your family has seen a guy for you?"

"No, not yet" Teja said with emphasis on the words not yet mocking Karan and continued, "But my mom said that she will start doing that once I go back, and I agreed to it."

"Didn't find a guy worth falling in love with" Karan's mom asked lovingly.

Teja just smiled a little.

"Mom she is in love with arrange marriages so she rejects everyone for it." Karan said and laughed.

No one else laughed at what he said so soon even Karan stopped laughing.

Kirti pulled Karan a little towards herself and whispered in his ear, "Karan stop embarassing yourself."

"Sorry" Karan whispered back regretting what he said earlier.

"Atleast she is agreeing to something, and here I have a son who doesn't find a girl for himself and doesn't  even let us do that.
Ever thought of getting settled or do you want to stay single for life."
Karan's mom asked him.

Even Teja wanted to know about it so she stared at Karan with curiosity.

After a few seconds of silence and all eyes on him , he said, looking at Teja
" Teja, will you..... find a girl for me"

Teja went speechless, the first three words were enough to make her heartbeat fast.

"Teja will you." Karan asked again, trying to see how Teja reacts to it.
Teja didn't say anything , she was trying to calm herself down.

Seeing the tension increase in the air , Kirti said, "Brat, atleast do something of your own."

Karan's mom shook her head in disbelief and went inside.

All of them had their breakfast and went inside. While going inside Teja stopped Karan and asked him "What kind of girl do you want, I will try to find her."

' You will be the best for me ' Karan thought, but obviously didn't say.

He smiled at her and said teasingly, "No need. I'm not as eager to get married as you are"

"Ayee I am not eager to get married."

"You are"

"I'm not."

Karan laughed looking at Teja getting irritated.

"I love irritating you. Do you even know how cute you look when you get irritated."

Teja huffed and said, "I hate you."

"I hate you more." Karan said with a smile.

When they reached the living room Karan's dad asked Teja to play chess with him. Playing chess with Karan's dad was something Teja used to always do whenever she used to visit them.

The chess match went for a while, which Teja eventually won.
" I will miss losing to you at chess" Karan's dad said.

Teja's eyes became moist , and she got emotional. This feeling was something she was trying to hold from the time Kirti invited her. The thought that this might be the last time she was meeting not just Karan but also his entire family was killing her.

Kirti saw it and said, "Teja can you please sing a song for me. Mom has always praised it alot. I did hear you sing on the call but I want to hear you live."

"I'm really not that good."

"You are" Karan said and handed her the guitar.

Teja looked at Karan and he blinked his eyes assuring her.

" Tujhse kiya hai dil ne bayan Kiya nigahon ko zubaan
Waada wafa ka kiya

Teja sang the song and she could only see smiles on everyone's face.

"I will miss you all a lot" Teja said, while trying to control her tears.

Karan's mom came and hugged her. It was an emotional moment for everyone. The way Teja was attached to Karan's family the same way they were attached to her too.

"Keep in touch" Karan's mom said while hugging her. Karan's dad came and patted Teja's head.

Kirti had tears in her eyes and Karan stood there in the corner silently watching everyone get emotional. Even he was getting emotional but then he thought of cheering up the mood.

"It's me who is leaving tomorrow, but I don't think anyone here even remembers it." He said.

Everyone laughed.

"You will come back after two months but I don't know when we will get the chance to meet her again." Kirti said and hugged Teja.

Teja touched Karan's parents feet and took their blessings and bid them a goodbye.

" I will come with you till the car" Karan said to Teja and they both went out of the house.

I won't update atleast for a few days from now because I really need time....
