The first test match didn't go well for both Karan as well as the team . Though Karan now was feeling more positive and was working on the things where he lacked.
The second match was won by team India and Karan had a considerable hand in the win. The third match was the most important one, the team who wins this match, wins the series as well. Hopes and pressure both the things were high.

" Stressed?" Teja asked Karan.

"A little bit maybe"

"Hmm. But why?"

"What do you mean by why Teja. This will be the deciding match. We have to win this."

"So you are stressed about the team's win and not your individual performance ?"

"Ofcourse, and about my individual performance, I'm working on it and as you told me that day that there's nothing much we can do other than practicing."

"Aww.... I am just so proud of myself, I always knew that I could be an amazing motivational speaker." Teja said to make the mood lighter.

Karan laughed and said " yes you truly can be one"

"By the way, you will come back in a week right."

"I guess someone is missing me" Karan said with a smirk.

"In your dreams" Teja said, rolling her eyes.

Karan chuckled and said" yes , we will back after a week "

"Okay then, take care, and don't stress much "

"Bye , see you soon"

"aur ye hai Karan ka karishma"
"Karan Kundrra has added one more achievement to the list by scoring his first double century against Australia and most importantly, when the team needed it the most " the commentators said with enthusiasm.

With that team India won the third test match and thus the series too, with Karan at 231* .

' I didn't even realise that I was nearing my first double century until I hit 190 and the scoreboard started the countdown. I wish that I hadn't  looked at the scoreboard that time, because that only increased the pressure.
I can still feel those cheers, when I ran for my 200th run, standing ovation from the crowd and the dressing room of both the teams. I took a few seconds to actually absorb the thing.

The way my team members ran towards me when I hit the winning four, ahh that felling cannot be expressed in words. I remember Ruturaj being the first one to reach me , he hugged me tight and whispered that I finally did it . I could just feel the happiness around. This will for sure be my most favourite match.' Karan thought while remembering all the events that occurred that day .

The country was celebrating and people were congratulating and praising his amazing knock.
Karan was receiving messages and calls from literally everyone, but he was patiently waiting for Teja's call.

*notification*

"Congratulations Karan, so happy for you" Teja wrote in her message.

Karan really wanted to talk to Teja so he decided to call her himself.

" Hello " Teja said being a bit surprised. She thought that Karan would be busy with attending calls and stuff, that's why she just sent him a message.

"Hi Teja, are you busy"

"No , why ?"

"Nothing I was waiting for your call, and you just sent me a message, so I thought..."

"And I thought that you must be busy, afterall you are the star of the day."

"Only for a day"

"Karan , if you have called me to hear compliments , so i will like to tell you that I am not the right choice, I am really bad at complementing people" Teja said inocently .

"Hahaha.... No Teja, I just wanted to thank you"

"For?"

"For just being there"

"That's what friends do right"

"Yes , but still, we have hardly known each other, yet you did what you did, so thanks"

Teja smiled and said "you completely deserved the win Karan,
congratulations ."

They kept talking for a few minutes and decided to meet after Karan returns to India.

The next day in the hospital Shruti looked more than happy, so Teja asked her her reason behind it.

"He is finally coming back Teja" Shruti said with excitement.

"Who?"

"Karan, obviously"

Shruti and Teja hardly talked about Karan, so Teja almost forgot that Shruti liked him. She again started feeling uncomfortable by the mere thought of them being together, and Teja could not understand why she was feeling this way.

"Umm.......are you guys dating?"

"Not yet, but I hope one day."

"Did you tell him that you like him?"

"Actually before doing that I just wanted to know how he feels about me. You are really close to him right, so will you please help me out."

"First of all we are not that close as you think . And what kind of help do you want."

"Just try to find out how he feels about me, if it is positive I will take things forward"

"Hmmm okay"
Teja wanted to help Shruti out just to prove herself that she had no problem with her liking Karan.

"You know I really want things to work out between us , the more I talk to him , the more I like him."

"You talked to him"

"Yes I did, every alternate day, and specially after the match to congratulate him or to motivate him, things did go wrong for him in the T20s na"

"Yes they did, but he bounced back " Teja said felling really proud.
"I will try to talk to him about you" Teja said with a small smile.

Later that day Ruturaj called Teja

"Hey Teju, how are you doing?"

"Absolutely fine , what about you, did you reach India?"

"Yes we did , actually we were thinking of having a get together at Karan's place before we leave for Mumbai, so come over."

"At Karan's place"

"Yes "

"Who all are coming?"

"Just the four of us , you, me , Sayli and Karan."

"And Shruti?"

"What about her?"

"You are not inviting her , even she is Karan's friend"

"Okay, let me ask him",  "Karan should we call Shruti too"

Karan thought for a moment and said a yes

"Fine then we will call her too, but you come on time okay"

"Yaa see you "

Karan didn't understand why Teja wanted Shruti to join them too, but he agreed thinking that maybe Teja will feel more comfortable if Shruti was around.

On the other hand Karan agreeing to add Shruti in their plan so easily made Teja think that maybe he also likes Shruti .
