The next day was the first day of the third and the final test match of the series. India had managed to win the previous two and were now looking forward to end it on a high with a 3-0 lead.

The day started early , the players with their families were reaching the hotel lobby to board the bus.

This was not something Teja was seeing for the first time. She saw this kind of environment earlier too, but it was the first time were she was actually feeling like a part of it.
She won't wave at the bus when it leaves, but will sit in it along with the rest.

She could recognise the wives of most of the players who were with them as being a cricketers partner in India made them quite famous.
A few of them were well established actresses and models who didn't need the WAG title to be known.

Seeing them Teja felt like a total outsider. She didn't understand how she will get used to that environment. Each person carried such a strong aura around themselves that it made Teja doubt the chance of being acquainted with them.

While being lost in these thoughts, Teja felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned, and was pleased to find sayli there. A sense of relief filled her heart.

She hugged her and said, "I'm so glad that I already have a friend here. I don't know what would I have done without you ."

"Don't worry. All of them are kind and chill. You will get along." Sayli assured Teja .

"I hope so."

In the bus Karan and Teja sat together, and Ruturaj and Sayli beside them.

Rishabh entered the bus a few minutes later with his wife .
"Aree , doctor bhabhi aap kab aye ?" He asked Teja.

She smiled and said, "Kal ."

"Matlab Aaj toh Bhai ki century paaki ." Rishabh said, while settling in his seat behind them.

The match started with team India bowling first.

Teja, Sayli and the other family members of the cricketers took there seats in the stands.

Teja was an cricket enthusiast from years . Watching a match live from the stadium always brought out the child in her , and it was not different this time.

She reacted on each wicket, and each boundary.
Instinctively she let out a frustrated sigh when a catch was dropped .

The day passed like that with the opposition putting up a strong score of 457/8 .

To the way back to the hotel Sayli told Karan and Ruturaj about Teja's reactions.

"I never thought that it would be so fun to watch a match with Teja. It was so entertaining ." She said.  "And the way she rolled her eyes to the century celebration of the batsman, thank God the cameraman didn't capture it otherwise that would have made headlines. "

"Is it ?" Karan said, being clueless about this side of Teja.

"Yeah. It was too much fun. "

"Okay I will keep myself in check from tomorrow." Teja said being embarassed.

"No. Please don't. Keep the excitement alive, it's too adorable."  Sayli said instantly.

"Sayli you are making me jealous. Even I want to enjoy her commentary." Karan said. "During IPL I will make sure to watch a match with you." He said to Teja.

"Stop it now. I feel shy ." Teja said.

Everyone laughed and Karan lightly kissed her temple .

On the second day the opposition got all out on a score of 459 .

During India's batting Ruturaj with an another batsman came to open, but sadly got out at 31 .

"Oh no" Teja exclaimed and then wrapped her hand around Sayli's arm and slightly rested her head on her shoulder with a sigh.

She stayed like that until she saw Karan enter the field. She sat upright at once. Watching Karan play was always stressful for her.

Karan was playing pretty well and him with the other batsman managed to form a good partnership.

But then suddenly the wicket of the other batsman fell and two balls later Karan got out too at 49.

Teja gasped and covered her mouth.

"It's okay" Sayli said to Teja and patted her back.

Teja sank back on her seat, and said, "wow , this is not as easy as I thought it would be."

India got all out before the end of day two scoring 324 runs.

The opposition again came for batting and this time even their wickets fell quickly.

At the end of day two , they were at 34/3 with a lead of 169 runs.

Day three was even more interesting with the game going one side at one moment and the other side the next.

But with a brilliant effort by Indian bowlers they restricted the opposition at 215 giving a target of  351 to India for win.

With the same batting line-up India started batting. Both the openers looked well in touch with the ball making everyone more hopeful of the win.

But in the last over of the day a wicket fell, leaving behind Ruturaj and Karan on the crease to take the chase forward.

On the fifth day , before the game began and Karan and Ruturaj join the team for their warm-ups , Teja after a lot of thinking said to them, "Ache se khelna. Jitna hai hume . "

They both smiled at her nodded.

Karan went ahead and kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear , "Don't worry. Pakka jitenge."

And they did.

Karan and Ruturaj alone chased down the target scoring 137 and 177 respectively.

This was one of the most successful partnership cricket had seen.

Hitting the winning runs Karan moved towards the non strikers end and hugged Ruturaj.
Teammates turned brothers , this win was a evidence of their brotherhood.

Simultaneously in the stands, Teja and Sayli hugged each other with utmost happiness.

Their friendship saw a growth too in the past five days .

Back in the hotel , when Teja and Karan were about to sleep, Karan pulled Teja closer so that her head rested on his chest and said , "This is the last match you saw as my fiance, the next match you will see in the IPL, you will be my wife. "
