"Tejuuu" Anu exclaimed as she entered Teja's room.

"Anuuu" Teja reverted back with same energy and happiness.

Teja was back from the function and this was the first time Anu and Teja were meeting, after more than six months.

"Where is Yash, I thought he will accompany you."

"He was going to come with me but then he got an invitation to a date so he went there, but he said that he will join us once he gets free."

"A date? Are you serious."

"Yes I am. He will tell you about it in detail."

"But firstly tell me how are you and do you even know how much I missed you."

"Liar. I know you were having great time with your husband. In this six months I don't think you even missed me more than six times."

"And what about you ma'am. You got so busy as soon as you went there. As if your work wasn't enough even Karan started keeping you busy."

Teja smiled as soon as she heard Karan's name .

"Anyways, you didn't answer my question, how are you ."

"I'm absolutely fine what about you."

"Just great. I never thought that my married life will be so nice. Like it's new but everything just feels perfect, as if this is how it is supposed to be."

"I'm so happy for you." Teja said and hugged Anu tightly. "And also for your husband. By the way, how is he ."

"He is doing good, infact everyone is doing well. I even asked him to come along but I guess he knew that he will be more like a fly on the wall here, so he passed."

"Nice, that's what he should have done." Teja said and rolled her eyes.

Anu chuckled, "You literally bully my husband, but remember I will definitely take revenge and will bully Karan." Anu blurted out.

Teja's eyes went wide and she asked, "how is he even related to this."

"Umm.."Anu tried to say something but failed so she said, "you know" and shrugged .

"Anu yaar please don't start it now" Teja said with annoyance.

Anu ignored her and walked around her room when her eyes fell on the pin board. She soon noticed the new photo that was pinned on it.

"Oh my God" she exclaimed.

"Shit" Teja cursed, and face palmed herself.

"Don't tell me you pinned his pic here. Also this pic is so cute , you guys look adorable."

Teja kept quiet, so Anu went near her and the interrogation started.

Finally after telling everything what happened between them in those six months, Teja confessed  that she liked Karan.

"So did you do something about it, and if not when are you planning to do it."

"No, I didn't do anything and I am not even planning to do something." Teja said casually.

"Why?"

"Because I just like him. It's his personality, the way he talks, his aura , it's easy to like him. Even Shruti did. "

"And she proposed him."

"But that didn't end well. I surely don't want to see myself at her place."

"But your bond with him is definitely not as it was between them. What if he likes you back, and which I think he surely does." Anu said.

Teja sighed and said,  "Anu I don't think that it is as serious as you think it is. Yes I like him, I just got habitual of him being around, talking to him , hanging out with him, but that's it. And I am telling you I will stop felling this way for him with time, everything will get back to normal.

Also , I will only date someone or even ask him out only when I am sure that, he is the one, and you know it pretty well. And the most important thing, I'm not even in love with him , I just like him.

Anu, Karan is really important to me , I don't want to ruin our bond . I hope you get what I mean and please I request you to not talk about it any longer."

"You will regret it , remember.

When you will sit with your noob husband watching Karan play on your TV, that's when you will think, ki agar zara si himmat kar leti to stadium me beth ke match dekh rahi hoti."

Teja chuckled.

"It's not funny" Anu said angrily.

"I know, but you made it sound funny.

Anyways, the only thing I am sure about is that even if I make the wrong decisions you will always be there for me, no matter what." Teju said and smiled at Anu.
Anu shook her head in disbelief and then smiled back.

Days went by and things were as normal as ever.

Teja started working in a well reputed hospital and Karan was performing brilliantly in the IPL. But still Karan's team as a whole struggled to reach the top four. However after winning their last match they ended up at third position. Now they had two knock out matches to win so they could reach the final. They won quater final with ease but the semi final was with a really strong team.

Karan's team with batting first scored a decent 165 runs. The match was a complete thriller and went down to the last ball with the opposition team needing 2runs.

The ball hit the bat and the batters started running as fast as they could.
But the batter running towards the non strikers end could not reach the the crease before the ball hit the stumps.
Run Out.
And with that Karan's team won the semi final.

"Yaayyyy" Teja screamed with joy while sitting in her living room watching the match.

Hearing her scream her bhabhi came to see her.
"Teju are you fine"

"More than fine bhabhi. They won, he will be here for the finals" Teja said with enthusiasm.

"Who?"

"Umm.. nothing. You know right that I am going to watch the final in the stadium and I really wanted this team to win so that they can reach the final, so I am really happy."

"That's great, but now I think you should sleep, okay."

"Yeah, good night."

Teja went to her room and started scrolling through her social media. After almost half an hour she saw Karan's post congratulating their team, and after a few minutes Karan posted a story

"Mumbai (red heart)
#OntoTheFinals
#IPL2023. "

He wrote, with his picture, in which he was wearing the pink sweatshirt which Teja gifted him.

I'm not an idiot to reveal the story by telling you about a particular movie.

I like that movie so I casually wrote about it, but I guess you all took it in a different way 🤦‍♀️

Also I am a very sincere tejran shipper so I will not name the characters as Teja and Karan if they do not end up together at the end..

Anyways they are going to meet after two months 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
