They reached the car, and Karan kept staring at Teja.

"What?"

"Nothing." Karan shrugged.

"Then why are you looking at me. Not even looking, you are literally staring at me."

Karan chuckled and said," This might be last time I am seeing you like this.. I mean face to face in real and not through some video call."

Teja nodded and smiled.

After a few seconds she said,
"Wait, I have something for you."
Saying this Teja opened the back door of her car a took out a paper bag and gave it to Karan.

"What's this." Karan asked curiously.

"Find it yourself."

He opened the bag, and in it was a plain pink colour sweatshirt.

"For me" he said with delight. "And that to in pink colour."

"I'm sure that it will look really good on you."

"If you say so. But thanks."

Karan was going to say something further when Teja handed him a white paper looking like thing .

''Autograph please." She said with a bright smile.

Karan turned the paper to see that it was a polaroid photo of the selfi they took on the family dinner night.

"Don't tell me that my photo is going to be on that board." Karan said with shock.

Teja chuckled.

"I never take signatures of the people who's photo I pin on the board but I had to take yours. Afterall you are not just a friend but also a celebrity, the Karan Kundrra.
Not to forget that you are not just a normal celebrity, but the one whom I used to crush on."

Karan laughed. This information wasn't new to him , but he never thought that Teja will ever tell this to him herself.
He smiled at her and Teja continued.

"Yeah I know that you already know it , courtesy disloyal Ruturaj ."

"He was being loyal to me though" Karan said. "But I wonder, what did I do that you stopped liking me."

"Who said I did. I am still a fan of thee cricketer Karan Kundrra is, and I will always be.  I remember teenager Teja going all gaga for the debutant she saw in IPL.

She is still there and cheers the loudest for you.

She was literally dancing the entire day when you scored the double century a few months back.

Just because I keep saying that I hate you doesn't mean that I really do."

Karan smiled and gave the autograph.
After a few seconds he said sadly,

"Teja I am really sorry for the way I behaved recently. I don't know... I was not thinking straight."

"It's fine. But I just hope that we could have spent those days nicely rather than letting them go in vain.

You were not even talking to me for more than five minutes." Teja said and her eyes got teary .

Karan saw it and at once pulled her in for a hug.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you" He said while hugging her tight.

"It's okay Karan. It's just .." Teja paused for a few seconds and then said softly,

"I will miss you."

Karan tightened the hug if that was possible and said,

" I will miss you more."

Teja pulled back, wiping her tears she said, "You better miss me. Also I will be messaging you so whenever you get time answer them and take care of yourself."

Karan nodded.

"Bye" Teja said and walked towards her car.

"Teja" Karan said

"Is this really the last time we are meeting."

Teja kept quiet and sighed.

"I hope it's not." Karan added.

"I hope so too" Teja said with a small smile.

Teja was going to sit in car when she again stopped, she looked at Karan and said,

" 2nd June , IPL final at Wankhede stadium Mumbai. My college friends were planning to watch it in the stadium. So if your team could reach till the final , we can surely meet again."

"Chances are less." Karan said.

"But there is still a chance. All the best. Play well."

Saying this Teja sat in her car and drived away.

Karan kept looking at the car till it disappeared from his sight.
.
.
.
After a few hours, in Karan's house.

"Karan do you want me to come with you till the airport tomorrow." Kirti asked.

"No di,  I will go alone."

"Are you sure. I can be there just for moral support."

"You are saying as if this the first time I am going for IPL.
You just stay at home and chill as you have been doing from the last few days." Karan said teasingly.

Kirti rolled her eyes and left.

Karan thought something for a few minutes, and then picked up his phone and wrote,

"Can you come and see me off to the airport."

He added "..at 3 pm" ,

again after few seconds he added

"if you are free."

Ahhh he groaned , deleted whatever he wrote and threw the phone in fustration.

' Ofcourse she will not be free tomorrow, it's a weekday. And why do you even want her to see you off.
You have started behaving weirdly even before leaving the city.

Calm down bro it's not a big deal. You can always message, call or even video call her.

So stop this before you do something embarassing.'  Karan said to himself.
.
.
.
Teja from Karan's house directly went to the hospital. She was already not feeling good, seperation anxiety  was hitting her the hardest.

Later in the evening , Teja met Shruti.

"Teja are you fine. You look pale" . Shruti asked with concern.

"Yeah I am fine . I just need some fresh air so I was going to the terrace."

"Okay. Take care."

Teja reached the terrace and it was almost sunset. The sky was changing colours and it looked just beautiful.
She smiled looking at the sunset and went and stood at the corner . She was admiring the sunset at the same time was thinking about the way she was feeling.

' He has not yet left the city and I'm already felling restless , I can already feel the void . It's weird how we used to meet just a few times but still him being in the same city and just a few kilometres away , used to comfort me so much .

This is so not done. How can a person whom I met just a few months back can affect me so much.

I hate it . I hate this feeling . '
