"Boarded the flight."

"I will send a car to pick you up . "

"Okay."

As Teja landed in Dharamshala, she looked around to find her ride .
Soon she found someone walk towards her and say, " Ms. Prakash, I'm here to pick you up. "

"Thanks." Teja said with a small nod .
The person took her luggage and they walked towards the car.

As they reached a bit near to the car , Teja squinted her eyes to see if there was someone else, Karan to be precise , to surprise her. She hoped for it.

But she was disappointed to find no one in the car.
' Might be practicing ' she said to herself and got in the car.

When she reached the hotel she was going to call Karan, but she stopped thinking that if Karan didn't surprise her, atleast she could. So she went to the reception and asked where Karan was staying.

" Sorry ma'am we can't give that information to you . We are asked to not disturb the team. "

" I'm his fiance " Teja said and showed her the ring.

The receptionist still looked unsure.

Teja sighed and looked in her phone to find their engagement pictures.
"Here" she said and showed the receptionist the pictures "Do you believe me now ? "

" Ma'am the photos do look real but I still can't allow it , AI creats pretty real pictures too. "

" Do I look like a scammer to you ?" Teja asked being offended.

" I didn't mean that.."

" What's the issue here ?" The manager of the hotel interrupted.

The receptionist gave the details to which the manager instantly said,        " I'm so sorry for the inconvenience caused Ms. Prakash. Karan sir informed us about you coming. I guess it just slipped from her mind." The manager said and glared at the receptionist.

"Let me take you to his room "the manager said.

"Just tell me the room number and the directions, I will manage the rest ." Teja said.

" Okay ma'am, but let us atleast help you with the luggage. "

"It's just one bag so it's totally fine , but thanks for asking. "

The manager left and the receptionist helped Teja with the room number and gave the directions .

"Again sorry ma'am" the receptionist said as Teja was about to leave.

" It's fine" Teja said smiling. "But do I actually look like a fraudster." She further asked for fun.

" Not at all. I was just following the rules. I'm sorry."

Teja chuckled, "Don't be , I was kidding. You are doing great." She said and left.

Teja reached near the room and heard some sort of movement from inside, which made her sure that Karan was in the room .

As she went closer to the door to open it , she heard a female voice from the room .

She stopped instantly, and instinctively took her ear closer to the door.

The sound became clearer, it was a female voice for sure . But the thing that troubled Teja more that the lady was not talking, the sound she heard was different. The kind of sound one makes when they make-out.

She heard that sound again, and went blank. She dropped her luggage and her hand bag on the floor.

Her heartbeat fastened and the memories they made together played in her mind.
