After spending a good amount of time sitting by the side of the beach , watching the beautiful moon accompanied by hundreds of stars that adorned the night sky, the music of the crashing ways giving a perfect background to this tranquil moment , they returned to the house, tiptoed.
As they thought that they successfully sneaked out of the house and came back the lights of the living room turned on and Jos came into view.
"Can I get back the keys, sir" he said sternly, letting go of the polite professional tone he always used.
Karan passed the keys to Teja who then further passed it to Jos.
They both noticed that there was something unusual about the way Jos behaved.
So Teja asked, "Jos is everything fine."
"Ofcourse I am absolutely fine" Jos said sarcastically. "Why will I be worried after getting to know that you two went to the beach at this time , without informing me."
Teja gulped. "Umm ... actually...we .." she stammered.
"I knew that you would not allow us." Karan said coming in between.
"Then you should have also known the reason why I would have not allowed it . High tides . It's not safe at this time. "
"We didn't go that far. "
"Still you could have informed after you got out . I wouldn't have disturbed you both . I very well know to respect your privacy. "
"And I very well know how to take care of mine and Teja's safety. I do not need you for that. "
"Karan" Teja said to stop him from saying anything further.
Jos hummed and smiled sadly.
"Indeed, why would you need me" he said ' it was always the other way round ' he thought while leaving.

.
"I cannot imagine that J has turned out to be such a rude and disrespectful man. Did you notice the tone he used. What does he even think of himself.
Kitna bhi bada ho jaye mujhse bada nhi hoga voh. "
"Uff...Calm down Karan." Teja said who was till now patiently listening to his rant.
"You saw the way he behaved."
"Out of concern" Teja countered.
" This is not how you behave when you are concerned. "
"I don't know about you , but I am happy. It showed that he considers you as someone close because you won't talk like that with any random person. You are his Karan Anna afterall, he was worried for you." Teja tried to explain.
Karan took a deep breath and said after a few seconds. "Sometimes I get scared by you. You can even convince me to believe that the earth is flat."
"Kuch bhi" Teja said with disbelief. "Also" she continued "do not carry your disappointment from today's argument to tomorrow. Be normal. "
Karan nodded.

The next day Karan and Jos behaved as nothing happened. They both talked formally and tried their best to avoid conversations.
The four again got out of the house to just explore the city.
After watching a few more famous beaches from afar as they were crowded they finally reached the famous cafe Ravi told them about the previous day.
The cafe too was a bit crowded so Ravi and Jos only went to get their order.
Karan and Teja were waiting in the car but Teja was continuously looking towards the cafe. The cafe truly looked beautiful from the outside and she was curious to know how it's interior was.
"Do you want to go inside ?" Karan asked noticing Teja's gaze.
"No , it's fine ."
"You want to go inside." This time Karan said with certainty.
"Okay, I want to. But I won't go without you."
"Let's go." Karan said and wore his mask and cap.
Teja stared at him. "You can still be recognised" she said.
"Because it's you. You might recognise me even with my entire face covered. "
Teja was still not sure so Karan held her hand, "Don't worry, I am not as popular as you think I am." He joked and got her out of the car.
The interior as expected was astonishing. A bit of contemporary beautifully blended with traditional Indian pieces, the cafe was totally Teja's vibe.
They then decided to have their snacks and dessert in the cafe itself.
Obviously while eating Karan had to take off his mask and even after sitting at a corner of the cafe a few people noticed him and took pictures.
Two .... four....ten the number of people kept on increasing so they quickly decided to move out.
Karan held Teja's hand firmly in his grip and walked towards the exit only to find even more people outside waiting for him.
The cafe security was not ready for the crowd as well, so the situation soon turned into a chaos.
Ravi ran to get the car close to the gate while Jos tried his best to keep the crowd away.
Apart from the stadium and the social media, this was the first time Teja actually saw how much people loved Karan.
They were shouting his name loud. Everyone had their phones out trying there best to capture him.
Teja was taken aback.
There was no other way to escape than moving straight through the crowd, so the security guard of the cafe in the front and Jos at the back they started towards their car.
Karan wanted to keep Teja infront of him to keep her safer but they were already surrounded by people who left no room for this changes.
He held her hand tighter and kept walking.
Aa they reached the car and Karan opened its door he felt his grip loosen and the next second he could not feel the warmth of Teja's hand in his.
"Get inside, get inside" Jos shouted.
"Teja" Karan said, getting panicked.
Inbetween all the noise Jos could not hear what Karan said, so as Karan got in the car he closed the door and sat infront.
"Where is Teja ?" Jos heard Karan shout as soon as he sat in the car.
"She is not with you ?" Jos asked confused.
Karan got furious.
He himself tried getting out of the car to find her but Jos and Ravi stopped him.
"I will get her , you both leave." Jos said and got off the car .
The car drive off soon after.
