"Connect your phone with the speakers" Karan said as he started the car .

Teja nodded and said "why were you behaving so weirdly. I would have gone with Adit, you took unnecessary trouble."

"Do you even remember when was the last time we met, it was two weeks ago."Karan said with annoyance

"I didn't meet my college friends from months" Teja said nonchalantly.

"But I am not them right, I am not your college friend"

"But earlier also we used to meet only if it was necessary, we were never that meeting twice a week kind of friends, yeah I know that we used to meet every week but that was due to your injury"

"I wanted to meet you, I guess this reason is enough." He took a pause and then continued, " Firstly I convinced my trainer to leave me early and when I drive all the way till here you just give me my parcel and were going to leave, atleast respect my efforts Tejasswi."

Baatein zaruri hai,
Tera milna bhi zaruri,
the song played .

"See even your playlist knows it" Karan said with a smirk.

Teja smiled and started singing the song

Teja and Karan looked at each other, smiled and together sang ,

The drive was then about Teja humming the songs and Karan adoring her doing it.

"Okay then, thank you Karan Kundrra for dropping me here, tell me how did you like the vada pav, take care, bye"  Teja said and turned to leave. After walking a few steps she turned and said "do you even realise that we hardly talked anything, we talk more than this on a normal call"

"So what"

"Don't you think that you driving till here is all pointless now."

"Not at all. "

"Why"

Karan took a deep breath, smiled and said "I wanted to be with you, I wanted to see you, like this, in real, which is done , so I don't think that anything I did went in vain ."

"Bye" Teja said with a smile.

"Take care, call me once you are free."

"Teju I hope I'm not disturbing you" Ananya said.

"No, I just got done with my duty. The last two weeks have been so busy Anu, I am tired." Teja cried out

"That's why I wasn't calling you much, btw how many days will it be like this"

"I guess one week more , then it will get back to normal. But I am so bored with this ordered food, I really want to have something home made"

"Are you not done yet...
Teja?...
Did you get free..." Karan messaged Teja.

"Wait a minute Anu, let me answer these messages"

"Yeah I got free, I am talking with Anu, talk to you tomorrow, good night."
"Gn" Karan replied

"Who was it" Ananya asked

"Karan"

"And what was he saying"

"Nothing just normal, he calls me after work na , so he was just asking if I was done or not"

"Daily?"

"Yeah, even if it's 4 in the morning" Teja said with a smile.

"And you still think that he doesn't like you. Like who will do all this for a normal friend."

"Ahh, why is everyone hellbent to prove that he likes me . He is just being a good friend."

"Everyone?"

"Umm... I mean you and Yash"

"Teja you can't lie , atleast not from me , so it will be better if you tell me straight away"

"Shruti" Teja said in a low tone.

"What! Why? when?"

Teja then unwilling told her about the things that happened on the day Dr Suman got the heart attack, "......so she said that she thinks he likes me ."

"And when were you going to tell me all this madam"

"Never, I knew what you would make out of it"

"But Teju will I be wrong in thinking that way, isn't it obvious now."

"He is just being a really nice friend to me and if we take his care and concern for me in a different way , I think it will be definitely wrong."

"You will never accept until he himself confesses right."

"That will never happen"

"Teja, kya karu mein tera." Ananya said with a sigh "okay for a moment leave him aside, what about you, what do feel for him."

Teja went blank, all this while, thinking about Karan's feeling towards her she never questioned herself about the way she felt. After thinking for a few minutes she said,

"Anu to be honest I never thought about it, and I don't even want to think about it. You know me , you know my opinions about relationships or dating. It will get difficult for me if I start thinking about him in a different way, things might get awkward between me and Karan. I don't want to lose his friendship, ever."

"Fine, as you wish, but always remember that I am here whenever you want to talk okay, you know that I will never judge you right"

Teja smiled and said, " Yeah I know. Love you"

"Love you too, take care."

A few days passed and things were as normal as they ever could be.

"Teja it's almost 11:30 , and you are still working" Karan said.

"Almost done, I will leave in a few minutes."

"Hmm... what did you have for dinner"

"Nothing"

"Huh?"

"I'm just tired of ordering food Karan, I will go home and cook myself."

"Are you going to eat at one in the morning"

"What else should I do, I want to eat home made food."

"Then come at my house, I will arrange something."

"Are you kidding me, no way I am going trouble you this late. I will better order food."

"Teja please"

"What happened" Karan's mom asked.

Karan told her mom the entire situation. Karan's mom took his phone and said,
"Teja you better come here in the next thirty minutes okay"

"Aunty but..."

"Teja come fast, no more discussion" Karan's mom said and gave Karan his phone back.

Karan chuckled and said "the timer starts now Dr Tejasswi, see you in the next thirty minutes."

"I hate you"

"Hate you more. I'm waiting"

"Hmm.. coming "
