"Dr. It's an emergency"

Teja instantly looked at Karan with a questioning look.

Karan smiled, finally his girlfriend reacted .

"Where are you lost?" he asked

"Nothing" Teja said and again started looking out of the window of her car.

"Rethinking about us... You are not sure about us, right."

"I'm not sure about anything at this point of time"

"Ouch... that hurt."

Teja smiled at her boyfriend's antique .

"Tell me...maybe I could help."

"You are my first boyfriend Karan. This is my first relationship. I don't know how this works. I don't know what kind of a girlfriend I will be, what if I don't turn out to be a good one. What if you get irritated by me. What if I become a torture to you."

"That you already are , what's new in it. "

Teja hit Karan on his chest and again turned her head to the other side.

"I won't let go of you...... even if you start torturing me." Karan said softly.

Their eyes met , "Well that's a bit toxic though but I will be fine with it" he added.

Teja chuckled.

After a few seconds Teja said "Karan... I just want you to know that now if I am in a relationship with you I see us getting married."

Karan looked at her at once and then slowed down the car. It was time for some serious conversation.

"I don't want you to feel pressurized or anything of that sought, I just want you to know that if I am with you I am very serious about us. It's not casual, it's not just attraction or liking... I really"

"I can cancel my flight tickets if you want me to talk to your mom about us." Karan said all of a sudden.

"Huh ?"

"I have my flight tomorrow, but I can cancel it and stay longer so that I can talk to your family, if you are okay. Even I will tell my parents about us."

"Are you sure. It's just been a few hours to us in this relationship." Teja said with a chuckle in order to reduce the increasing seriousness of the conversation. She never expected this kind of a reaction from him.

'It might be just a few hours to us in this relationship but I have known you long enough to be sure about us" He said with utmost ease .

"What do you even know about me" Teja teased him.

"What do I know about you" Karan said with a sheepish smile and continued "I know that you had a very big crush on me, that you used to stalk me like crazy..."

"Okay okay stop"

Karan laughed

"And I never stalked you like crazy. You were just an attraction because you were been talked about a lot nothing else . I didn't even remember you. At the party when I saw you for the first time, I actually took a few minutes to remember you."

"Ofcourse, I trust you"

"I'm not lying" Teja said defensively

"When did I say that you were."

"Then stop that stupid grin on your face ."

"Yeah fine , anyhow we are just a few minutes away from my hotel so you won't have to bear with this stupid grin."

Teja's face dropped and soon the car stopped.

They reached the hotel and both of them got out of the car.

"Okay then..see you. Drive safe and message me when you reach home." Karan said and kissed her forehead and took her in a tight hug.

"I love you" he whispered slowly while softly caressing her back.

Teja's hold on him tightened, "We will be fine right?" , she asked.

"Yes.. Always." He said with certainty.
Karan opend the door of the car and Teja got on the drivers seat.

They stayed in silence for the next couple of minutes gathering their own feelings and thoughts.

"When is your flight tomorrow? "

"At 2. I will be meeting rutu and sayli before leaving, they invited me for lunch."

"Don't go"

"Huh?"

"Cancel your ticket. I want my mom to meet you."

"Okay." Karan said a bit taken aback. "So are you planning to tell aunty about us or introducing me as a normal friend."

"I don't know, I have not thought about it yet. I just know that I don't want you to go so soon ."

Teja's knuckles turned red as her grip on the staring wheel tightened in an attempt to not get emotional.

"I want you to stay." She said with her voice cracking.

Karan immediately took her hands in his and kissed them gently.

He smiled slightly and said, "if you want me to get in the car now , I am more than ready"

Teja chuckled. "No, no need . You can go as of now ."

"Inform me about your plans for tomorrow beforehand so that I plan my day accordingly, okay. Bye. Drive safe and.."

"Yes I will message you once I reach and I will also tell you about tomorrow's plan. Bye ."
