Confused 💞

Teja was never a person who had crushes on people. A one or two during her school time but she never let those feelings increase.

But then one fine day she saw him, in IPL, playing his debut match as an opener for RCB. Being a huge VIRAT KOHLI fan she never used to miss any RCB match.

She saw him for the first time and something really attracted her towards him. Then followed the normal process of stalking the person you like. She stalked him every where, from insta , twitter , Wikipedia and all the interviews he gave earlier and was giving as a debutant in IPL. In a few days she knew everything about him where is he from , his family,his education qualification, ask her anything and she will know it all.

But the thing about him which made her really happy was his age . He was just 3 years elder to her , a decent age gap for any alliance .
" Sirf 3 saal bada hai, itna age gap to normal hai" she thought.
 She started imagining things. Though her conscious used to always remind her of the reality,

" You know right that whatever you are imagining can never be possible " ,

"yes I very well know, but even thinking about it is making me so happy, so I will continue doing it" she used to answer.

But as they say ,
"its crazy how time flies and things change"
, things happened in Teja's life to. She got admission in a medical college, met new people, made new friends, and somewhere the imaginative Teja got lost. She stopped stalking him , stopped watching his interviews , but never missed any of his matches.

Though the practical Teja stopped imagining things ,but could never remove him from her heart. A  small place in her heart specially for him and no one else .

So watching him for real after 10 years of constant crushing on him with varying intensity of her feelings , bought all those memories back and also a bright smile on her face .

After coming out of those thoughts she decided to give herself a reality check,

" you know who he is and you also know that the things you used to imagine are far from reality. You used to have a crush on him but that was long back , you are here as a doctor so better behave professionally "

With this she composed herself and went to talk to some other people in the party. Later one of the team management member with whom Teja was talking decided to introduce her to the remaining cricketers.

Karan was with Ruturaj when Teja came towards them. She was introduced to them,and all three of them greeted each other.

Both Karan and Teja did not talk much to each other in the beginning, both of them took time to open up to each other. But surprisingly Teja and Ruturaj bonded really well . Them being from the same state was one reason.

Meanwhile when Teja and Ruturaj were talking karan was busy in adoring how sweet Teja was. He wanted to talk to her but didn't knew how to start a conversation. Moreover Ruturaj  was being extra talkative and left no topic for him to talk about.

Later Karan was called by someone so he left. Seeing Karan leave somewhere Teja scolded herself for not talking to him much . She kept staring him , and this did not go unnoticed by Ruturaj,

"Do you like him?" He asked.

"Not really but i used to have a huge crush on him" Teja said at once, without even realising what she was saying.

"What?"

" I mean.....ummm..... please don't tell this to him. I had a crush on him. But there's nothing like that now " she explained.

"He is a nice guy , even if you like him now, there's nothing wrong in it " he said teasingly .

" But i don't " Teja said sternly.

At the same time Karan once again joined the group along with Ruturaj 's wife Sayli . The maharashtrian in Teja bonded with sayli  really quick.

" It's pretty late now , i think i should leave" Teja said .

" Oh yes , even we are leaving , Karan will you drop Teja to her place? "

Ruturaj said out of no where, which shocked both Teja and Karan. Though Teja knew why he was doing this, Karan was completely clueless.

"No need , i have my car."

" Ok then karan accompany her till the parking "

Ruturaj said literally laughing for inside, while Teja gave him a death glare .

" Yaa fine , let's go " Karan said.

With that they left the party.
While Karan was thinking of how to start a conversation,

Teja said" you and Ruturaj are really close right "

"Yes really close. He is a nice guy , but idk what happened to him today, he was behaving weird , specially after i came back "

" Oh , idk what happened " she said in a low tone. She just wanted to change the topic so she said

" you know , it was because of you i cleared my medical entrance exam " and instantly regretted saying it.

"How?" He asked being surprised and curious at the same time

" Kyu ki mujhe lagta tha ki agar mein doctor ban jaungi to tumse milne ke chances badh jayenge..ik koi sense nhi hai is bat me but this used to motivate me a lot back then " she thought, but clearly didn't say this to him

" At such a young age you were doing so good in life , it used to inspire me a lot" she lied.

" Hmm , so i guess i deserve a gift from your side then " he said

" Fine , what do you want?"

"Your phone number "

Teja was shocked will be an understatement. Not because she found it any wrong , but because she never thought of karan asking her , her number.

"Ummm ..."

"Haha just kidding, actually i have our group pictures we clicked inside. You will want them right, so i will send it to sayli she will forward them to you "

"No , you can send it to me directly. You seem to be a good guy, i can give you my number"

With this they started laughing...

"Bye , see you later" Teja said as they reached her car.

" Bye , drive safe"...........
