After an intimate yet a beautiful and soulful wedding, a grand reception was given in Mumbai to the friends and family who could not be at the wedding.

Karan's fellow cricketers, bollywood celebrities he was acquainted with a few political figures attended the party.

This function gained a lot of media attention which led to Teja giving her first ever , proper media bites.

"It's okay if you don't want to go infront of the media, trust me. It's okay." Karan said to a nervous Teja.

A guest interrupted their conversation and started talking to Karan, so in this time Teja turned to Karan's manager who was standing beside her with a motive to take both of them infront of the media.

"Will it really be fine if I don't go infront of them." Teja asked the manager "be honest" she added.

The manager though hesitant answered her truthfully. "It won't be nice if you don't give them the couple photos. They all are here for you both afterall."

Teja sighed. Even though she started getting a lot of attention since the time she accompanied Karan to the match, still she was not yet used to it.

"Let's go" Teja said to Karan as the guest left him.

"There's no pressure. If you don't want to do it, just say it. "

"I will manage." Teja said with a small assuring smile. "Just stay with me. "

Karan held her hand and slowly rubbed it's back. "I will."

"That's a lot of cameras" Teja said as she went infront of the media, smiling to hide her nervousness.

"Still none of them could truly capture how beautiful you look today ." Karan whispered in her ear.

Teja blushed making her already pink cheeks brighter.

"You are unbelievable" she mumbled.

Karan pulled her closer by her waist and winked at her .

After this eventful reception, Karan and Teja went for a 3 days trip to their Kerela beach house, this time with their families.

The IPL started soon after , so Karan left to join his team in the practice camp while Teja used this time to get accustomed to her new house.

She stayed with Karan's parents, got a job and started working. In between she used to go to watch a few matches.

Karan's team managed to reach the playoffs, but got eliminated in the knockout match.

This loss , though quite significant didn't affect much as the world cup starting the next month  had already captured much of everyone's mind.

The world cup was important, it had always been.

And after last year's loss in the finals, this year people turned out with more hope.

Teja took a complete two months off form her job and stayed with Karan like a shadow during this time.
She didn't let a single moment to occur where Karan felt low and she wasn't there to show her support.

Alongside this stress of the world cup, the players along with their families bonded quite well.

Teja made a lot more friends, but her sisterhood with Sayali stayed special and only grew stronger with each day.

At the same time, match by match, team India kept nearing their goal.

" The last over , and 10 runs to score to take the cup home . But with only three wickets in hand and one of the best bowler bowling from the other end, this chase won't be easy. "
