"Bhabhi, I cannot do this. I do not want this"

"It's okay baccha, just stop crying first."

Soon Teja's mom and brother both came in her room. Both of them also got really worried seeing Teja cry. She hardly used to cry, so seeing her cry hurted them a lot .

"Teju stop crying and tell me what happened" her mom said with both strictness and love.

Teja sniffed and said, "Mom I don't want to marry him."

"Okay, that's fine. I will tell them that it's a no from our side, okay."

Teja nodded.

"Now stop crying and Tarun give her some water." Teja's mom said and left the room.

Tarun gave Teja water and said,
"You really cried this much because of that silly reason, duffer.
Do you even know how ugly you look when you cry. " Tarun teased her.

Teja hit his shoulder and they both laughed slightly.

"Teju , that is the only reason right. The guy did not say or did something na." Tarun asked with concern.

"No."

Tarun caressed her hair and left, and soon did Priya.

After a few minutes Teja's mom came in her room.

"I told them our answer. Are you happy now."

"I'm sorry mom. But I just could not..."

"No need to be sorry.
For every person more than knowing what they want, it's important to know what they don't want, and I am glad that my daughter knows that."

Teja smiled.

"Anu will be here in an hour, talk to her , you will feel better."

"You called her?"

"Yes, did I do something wrong."

Teja hugged her mom tightly and said, "Not at all. Thank you, you are just the best."

"I'm always there, remember that "

"Hmm."

Anu entered Teja's room and saw her sitting on her bed with eyes closed and earphone on. Teja opened her eyes as she felt some ones presence.

"Hi" Teja said and kept her earphone away.

Anu sat infront of her on the bed and said, "Was he that bad that aunty had to call me to cheer you up."

Teja smiled and shook her head in a no .

"What are you thinking."

"Anu I really thought that arrange marriages were easy. Like your family selects a guy for you, you meet him, he is a nice person so you start liking him too and then you get married.

In my case, mom , bhai, bhabhi felt that the guy will be a nice match for me, I met him, he turned out to be a nice person, but I didn't like him.

It just didn't feel right. I was literally waiting for our lunch to end.
You know he told me a lot of things about himself but if you ask me now I don't even remember a bit. Literally nothing."

"Maybe because your mind somewhere else. Wasn't it. "

Teja sighed and said, "Yes, it was."

"Okay, let me guess" Anu said teasingly, "Were you thinking about a cricketer. Someone who won the IPL trophy this year, whose name starts with K . Am I right or am I right."

Teja smiled and her cheeks turned pink.

" Karan" she said and paused for a few seconds ,

"I really troubled him a lot, from the time we met.
I used to stop talking to him after slightest of inconvenience. Dr Suman said keep it professional, I stopped talking to him, Shruti said she liked him , I stopped talking to him, I thought we were getting closer, I stopped talking to him.

But everytime he used to keep calling me, messaging me and I could not ignore him more.

Anu, I really tried staying away, tried controlling the way I felt. I used to remind myself that we are very different from each other, that he is a celebrity and way out of my league, that he deserves a much better girl than me. I reminded myself that I never even wanted to be in a relationship , but nothing worked."

Teja's eyes got moist and she looked at the ceiling to prevent her tears from falling.

"I always used to say to him that I hated him, and I seriously do, because he made me feel those feelings which I never wanted to." Tears fell on her cheeks which she quickly wiped off.

Even Anu's eyes got teary, but her's were happy tears.

"I can't believe this, my best friend is in love."

Teja shook her head in disbelief but did not deny what Anu said.

"I'm doomed" she said with a small smile and Anu instantly hugged her.

Anu pulled out of the hug and handed her phone to Teja, " Call him."

Teja did not take the phone and kept staring at Anu with shock.

"Don't tell me that you are not going to confess to him. You have to." Anu ordered.

"I don't know about confession, but I really want to talk to him once. Explain him about what happened on the finals night. I want him to know that he is really important and I want him in my life.

But he will decide if he wants to be as my friend or boyfriend or nothing. Even if he says that he wants only frendship or nothing at all, I will still be fine because I will atleast get a closure.

But I cannot say all of this casually on a phone call."

"Are you planning to go to Bangalore to meet him."

"No."

"So how are you going to talk to him."

"Rishabh called me an hour ago. You know right that he got married recently."

"Yeah, so what."

"He invited me to his wedding reception which is on the coming wednesday. I'm sure Karan will come too."

"Karan where are you brother, I tried calling you so many times."

"Actually I am traveling and there are some network issues so that's why. Anyways congratulations, wishing you a happy married life ahead."

"Thank you."

"So where is my party."

"On wednesday, in Mumbai. I have messaged you the location."

"Mumbai? "

"Yeah. Just book a flight from where ever you are and come to Mumbai. I just want to see you here on wednesday."

"Okay, I will try "

"You have to . You don't have any other option "

"Fine"

' Back to Mumbai, awesome ' Karan thought with sarcasm.

'Rishabh would have invited Teja also.'

' Stop , stop thinking about her. What's the use of this vacation when you have not moved on even a bit.'

He sighed, ' Oh God please stop me from doing something stupid there . '
