Chapter 20

In the past few days Ryan hadn't been seen at the station anymore, Andy was happy not to see him every day, but during that day Ryan reappeared because he had to talk to both Andy and Robert.

Andy: "What are you doing here?" she asked as soon as she saw Ryan.

Ryan: "I came to talk to you and your husband"

Andy: "And what about?"

Ryan: "When he is there, you will find out" Andy snorted and then they went to Robert.

Andy: "Ryan came to talk to us" she said as she went to sit on Robert's lap.

Robert: "What do you have to talk to us about?"

Ryan: "We've had some problems lately in some calls because help was slow to arrive and we are not trained in first aid. My Captain, since I know Andy, asked me to speak with you if it was possible to have a day together in which you help us with the basics of first aid"

Andy: "Rescue is late because no one is level 19" she said with a little laugh.

Robert: "It's something that can be organized, but not before a week"

Ryan: "Ok"

The three of them started talking about what they could do and at one point Robert's phone started ringing, it was Emily. Robert saw that Emily was calling him but at that moment he tried to ignore the call.

Andy: "You can't ignore your sister's phone call"

Robert: "I'll call you back later"

Andy: "No, answer now. What if Emily were to tell you something about children?"

Robert: "Ok, ok, I'll answer" he said, picking up the phone. "Good morning Emily, what's up?"

Emily: "It's about Noah. He no longer finds the soft toy that Andy gave him, is it likely that he left it at your house?"

Robert: "I have no idea, but wait you can ask Andy, she's here with me" he said and then handed the phone to Andy.

Andy: "Hey, is everything okay?" she asked, slightly worried.

Emily: "Noah can't find the stuffed toy you gave him anymore and he's crying. Did it stay at your house by chance?"

Andy: "Yes, he left it with us"

Emily: "Oh, thank goodness, now I'll tell him at least stop crying"

Andy: "Can I talk to him?"

Emily: "Of course yes" she then gave the phone to the child.

Noah: "Aunt Andy"

Andy: "Hey, little monster. Are you still crying?"

Noah: "Yes, my soft toy has disappeared is the one you gave me"

Andy: "You didn't lose it, it stayed in my house and uncle Sully's"

Noah: "Really?"

Andy: "Yes. Don't worry you'll get it back soon, okay? In the meantime, uncle Sully and I will take care of your panda"

Noah: "Okay, thanks aunt Andy"

Andy: "But now don't cry anymore"

Noah: "Ok. Can we make a video call?"

Andy: "Not at the moment, uncle Sully and I are working, but I promise you that as soon as we get home we will make the video call"

Noah: "Ok, see you tonight. I love you so much aunt Andy"

Andy: "I love you so much too, little monster. See you tonight" she said and then ended the call.

The whole time Andy was on the phone, Robert held her close and Ryan looked at them and felt jealous. Ryan saw Andy being affectionate not only with Robert, but with children as well. As soon as Andy closed the call, she turned to Robert.
