Chapter 29

The next morning everyone woke up pretty early because Andy, Robert and Elena were leaving for Miami. Sandra had woken up before everyone else and had prepared a hearty breakfast and had also prepared some typical Puerto Rican things to take to Robert's family.

Sandra: "I hope we'll see each other soon" she said hugging Andy.

Andy: "I hope so too. Thank you for these days, I had a great time with you"

Sandra: "They have been very beautiful days for us too" she replied smiling. "It was a pleasure meeting you too Robert" she said hugging him too.

Robert: "It was a pleasure for me too"

Johnny: "Finally in this family now I will no longer be the only man" they all laughed.

Michelle: "See you soon"

Andy: "Yes"

Sandra: "Have a good trip"

After the various greetings, Andy, Robert and Elena went to the airport and before leaving, Robert called his sister to warn her that they would arrive in Miami by lunchtime. Thomas and Chloe were at school while Noah was in kindergarten and since they didn't know anything about Andy and Robert's arrival, it would be a nice surprise when they got out of school. After passing the checks and boarding, they were waiting for the moment of take-off.

Robert: "Why am I sitting between you two? I thought you wanted to be next to your mother"

Andy: "And you thought right, but as soon as we can take off the seat belts I want to do the trip like the last one we did"

Robert: "Are you going to sit on my lap the whole time?"

Andy: "Exactly" she replied with a huge smile.

A short time later the plane left and as soon as she Andy was able to take off her belt, she went to sit on Robert's legs. He hugged her and started cuddling her and as he did so he noticed that Elena looked a little nervous.

Robert: "Is everything okay?"

Elena: "Yes, yes. I just don't know your family and.."

Robert: "Don't worry, everything will be fine"

Andy: "Robert is right, they are all fantastic people and I'm sure you will immediately feel like family just like I did the first time" she said as she snuggled even closer to Robert.

Andy and Robert told Elena a few things about Robert's family and she noticed that whenever Andy talked about the children, her eyes sparkled. Andy told her mother about the first time she met them and the first day they had spent at the beach all together. While Andy and Elena continued to talk, Robert closed his eyes and dreamed that all those things that he and Andy had done with their nephews, he would do with his son. But in that dream there was not only a boy, but there were two children, one of which was a girl and looked a lot like Andy. In that dream he and Andy seemed very happy, but when he woke up he realized that this would remain only a dream.

Andy: "Hey, is everything okay?" Robert nodded. "Sure?"

Robert: "Yes, I just had a strange dream"

Andy: "What dream? Was I there in your dream too?"

Robert: "Maybe, I don't remember" he answered lying. "Do you need something?" Andy nodded. "And what?"

Andy: "I just need your kiss"

After kissing softly, they started watching a movie while Elena was sleeping. Throughout the film, Robert continued to cuddle Andy and when it was time to land, Andy sat back in her seat and Elena woke up. Once they got off the airport, they went to get my luggage and as soon as I got out of the airport, they found Emily and William waiting for them. Emily and Andy hugged each other as soon as they met and they were both very happy to see each other again. After their embrace, Andy said goodbye to William as well and then introduced them to her mother.
