Chapter 77

One day, much to Andy and Robert's surprise, Mila and Marcus had said their first word. Mila and Marcus were playing and trying to get Lilli's attention by screaming. But Lilli was eating and obviously she didn't consider the two little children. Mila and Marcus, since Lilli still didn't consider them, started calling her, thus saying their first word.

Mila: "Lilli" she said screaming the puppy's name.

Marcus: "Lilli" he also said screaming and then together with his sister he started crawling towards Lilli.

Andy: "Robert.. did you hear them?" she asked her husband as Marcus and Mila continued to crawl, calling for Lilli.

Robert: "Yes, I heard them" he replied, checking that the twins did not get into trouble.

Marcus and Mila continued to crawl until they reached Lilli and once they got close to the puppy, they hugged Lilli and continued to call her. Andy and Robert tried to take a video of their children and when they checked their phone to review the video, they realized that neither of them had pressed the button to start the video.

Robert: "We were too focused on watching our children that we forgot to press the button to start the video" he said, laughing followed by his wife.

Andy: "I really wanted to be able to record their first word"

Robert: "Me too, but it doesn't matter. When it happened, we were here with them" Andy nodded.

Andy: "You're right, that's the most important thing" she replied smiling. "You know.. I was sure that with their first word they would have called Lilli" she said smiling.

Robert: "Me too. They're both really cute"

Andy: "And now they will call Lilli all the time"

Robert: "Oh, yes" he replied as Mila and Marcus continued to scream Lilli's name. "They are growing so fast, I can't believe they will be one year old soon"

Andy: "Time passed very quickly" Robert nodded. "And soon they will also start walking, they often try even if they fall as soon as they no longer have a grip"

Robert: "It takes its time, but I agree with you, very soon they will start walking and when that happens, it will be because they will go to Lilli" he said with a little laugh.

Andy: "I think so too"

Meanwhile Mila and Marcus returned to their parents and held out their arms so they could pick them up. After Andy and Robert picked up their children, Marcus and Mila continued to call for Lilli and when the puppy approached them, the twins smiled big while clapping their hands. Mila and Marcus wanted both to be in their parents' arms and to play with Lilli so Andy and Robert sat on the carpet so that, by being able to hold the twins in their arms, they could play with Lilli. Robert would throw a small ball to Lilli, the dog would run to get it and then when he returned to Robert, Lilli would leave the ball next to him and both Mila and Marcus would start laughing. While they all continued playing together, Elena and Eleonor called and then Andy started a video call. In this way, both Elena and Eleanor, in addition to seeing their grandchildren, were also able to hear what the two children called Lilli.

Eleonor: "Our grandchildren made us win a bet" she said to Elena while the video call was still in progress.

Elena: "And now we'll call everyone else to tell them too" Eleonor nodded.

Robert: "Did you also bet on this?"

Eleonor: "Yes and you have no idea how many other things we have bet on" she replied laughing.

Robert: "And maybe it's better that we don't know anything"

Andy: "But I can imagine some things"

Elena: "Have you already thought about how to celebrate their first birthday? There's not much left now"
