Chapter 72

Like every day, Robert woke up early in the morning to go to the station for the start of his shift while Andy stayed at home with the twins. Every morning Robert would leave breakfast ready for his wife and then, before leaving the house, he would cuddle his children a bit and then put them in bed next to Andy. After giving his wife a kiss, Robert made sure that Lilli didn't miss anything either and then left the house. Andy woke up shortly after because Mila and Marcus started to get a little agitated because they were hungry and so she breastfed them. Once she had finished breastfeeding Mila and Marcus, Andy took the children downstairs, placed them on the floor on the large carpet in the living room where there were also all the children's small toys so that she could do breakfast. Lilli always stayed close to the twins and both Mila and Marcus always tried to get closer to the puppy, but they still couldn't crawl. However, when Lilli was very close to them, Mila and Marcus tried to catch Lilli's fur and when they succeeded, they started laughing. One morning Emily asked Andy if she could pick up Noah from daycare because she had to work and obviously Andy said yes. Noah didn't know that Aunt Andy together with Mila and Marcusa were going to pick him up from nursery and in fact when he saw them arrive, he smiled hugely and was really very happy.

Noah: "Aunt Andy" he said running towards her. "I'm very happy" he said, hugging Aunt Andy.

Andy: "Are you happy enough to help me with Mila and Marcus when we get home?"

Noah: "Absolutely yes" he replied and then gave two small kisses on the forehead of Mila and Marcus who smiled. "I'm their big brother and I really enjoy being with you and them" she said smiling and Andy smiled too.

Andy: "Are you hungry?" Noah nodded.

Noah: "What are we going to eat?"

Andy: "Grandma Eleonor and grandma Elena left some pasta ready for us this morning"

Noah: "Ohhh good" he replied rubbing his tummy. "I'm very hungry" Andy gave a little laugh.

Andy: " I imagine so" she replied, smiling. "Let's go home so we can eat" Noah nodded.

Since the nursery was close to where Andy lived, they took a short walk home and the whole way Noah held hands with Mila and Marcus who were in the stroller. Mila and Marcus became more curious with each passing day and looked around a lot and that day Noah told them everything he saw. Mila and Marcus were always very smiley and made lots of little noises making Noah laugh. Once they arrived home, Noah went to wash his hands in the bathroom while Andy heated up the food that Elena and Eleonor had left ready that morning. While Andy was putting the last things on the table, her phone started ringing and it was Robert calling her.

Andy: "Hey" she replied as she put the plates on the table.

Robert: "Is everything okay? I also tried to call you before, but you didn't answer"

Andy: "Oh, yes, sorry, but I left my phone at home. Together with the children I went to pick up Noah from nursery and we returned a little while ago"

Robert: "Why did you go to pick up Noah from kindergarten?"

Andy: "Your sister asked me"

Robert: "Did my sister forget that you have twins?" Andy gave a little laugh.

Andy: "My love.. don't worry, I can control all three of you"

Robert: "Emily could have asked my mother and your mother to be with Noah"

Andy: "Our mothers left the food ready for us as usual, they were with me this morning and will be picking up Thomas and Chloe later. And then you know that Noah prefers to be with the best aunt in the world"
