If you play with fire.. you get burned

Chapter 79

Andy, Robert, Elena, Eleonor and Daniel were calmly talking when at a certain point they realized that it was too quiet in the house. When they turned to where Mila and Marcus should have been playing, they realized that the children weren't there and Lilli wasn't there either. Everyone immediately became worried and started looking for the twins throughout the house without finding them and Andy and Robert were really very worried about their children and hoped that nothing had happened. At a certain point Andy then realized that the door leading to the garden was open and they immediately headed into the garden. Once they got outside, Andy and Robert breathed a huge sigh of relief because they saw that their children were there. Mila and Marcus had found the door open and so they had gone out into the garden to play with Lilli only that, given the bad weather that had occurred in recent days, there was a lot of mud in the garden.

Andy: "They're both covered from head to toe in mud and so is Lilli" she said shaking her head. "And if I'm in that state it's my fault"

Robert: "Why would it be your fault?" he asked as Eleonor, Elena and Daniel joined them.

Andy: "I left the door open. I left it open so that Lilli could go out to do her business, I didn't think our children would go out in the garden" Robert started laughing. "It's not funny"

Robert: "Well.. yes it's very funny" Andy glared at her husband. "Nothing happened, they are here and having fun" he said pointing to Mila and Marcus who were throwing themselves on the ground in the mud.

Andy: "Yes, ok, but now we have to bring them back into the house, wash the two of them and then Lilli too"

Elena: "We'll take care of Lilli"

Andy: "We also have to prepare lunch"

Elena: "It's not a problem, we will be able to do everything"

Daniel: "I'll help you too"

Andy: "I can't ask you to help us, you're a guest"

Daniel: "Really, it's not a problem for me. Elena and Eleonor can take care of lunch and if you tell me where I can wash Lilli, I'll take care of her"

Andy: "Are you sure it's not a problem?"

Daniel: "Absolutely not. Until a few years ago I also had a dog, he was very similar to Lilli" Andy nodded.

Andy: "Then thank you"

Robert: "But now the first thing to do is try to get our children"

Eleonor: "Ohhh, I really don't think this will be easy" she replied, laughing.

Andy and Robert started calling their children, but they ignored their parents and continued playing in the mud. At that point Andy and Robert decided to approach their children so they could pick them up, but when Mila and Marcus saw them approaching, they started running to try to escape. Andy and Robert let their children run around for a few more minutes and then finally managed to pick them up. While Andy and Robert then returned to the house to give Mila and Marcus a bath, Elena and Eleonor showed Daniel where he could wash Lilli. Daniel was happy to be able to help and the two women, before going to prepare lunch, kissed Daniel. Elena and Eleonor then let Daniel take care of Lilli while they started preparing lunch. Meanwhile Andy and Robert were in the bathroom upstairs with their children and while the tub was filling with water, they had removed their children's muddy clothes.

Andy: "I was really worried before" she said as she and Robert placed Mila and Marcus inside the tub.

Robert: "I know, I was very worried too. Luckily nothing happened" Andy nodded.

Andy: "Daniel was nice to offer to help us with Lilli" Robert nodded.

Robert: "Maybe then she realizes that it could always be chaos like that here and she'll run away" Andy let out a laugh.
