Chapter 45

When Andy woke up the next morning feeling a little weird, she quickly put on her pajamas and ran to the bathroom and threw up. Robert had heard his wife get up quickly, put on his pajama bottoms and then went to his wife.

Robert: "Are you okay?" he asked approaching her.

Andy: "I'm better now" she said sitting down on the floor.

Robert: "Are you sure?" he asked a little worried.

Andy: "I'm sure" she replied with a small smile. "Probably all that ice cream last night" she replied with a small laugh.

Robert: "Maybe it's that, but now go back to bed" he said reaching out a hand towards her to help her get up.

Andy: "Are you staying with me?"

Robert: "I'm not going anywhere" he replied with a smile.

When they lay back in bed, Andy cuddled up to her husband and he held her close. They both slept a little longer, but then woke up when they heard someone pounding incessantly on the door of their house. Andy and Robert got out of bed and both were sure that it was their grandchildren who were knocking on the door. When they went downstairs they saw the children knocking on the door that opened onto the garden and Lilli was with them. Andy opened the door and the three children immediately embraced her and in the meantime Robert went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

Andy: "Good morning. Did you sleep well?"

Thomas: "Yes"

Noah: "Lilli slept with me all night" he said with a big smile.

Andy: "Have you had breakfast yet?"

Chloe: "Nope. We woke up a few minutes ago and came right here"

Andy: "So let's go to the kitchen, uncle Sully is making breakfast for everyone"

Noah took aunt Andy's hand and then they all joined Robert in the kitchen who was finishing preparing breakfast. Since Andy hadn't been well, Robert had prepared her tea while for the children he had prepared milk with cocoa. Robert was also making waffles and the kitchen smelled very good. Andy, smelling the waffles, felt weird again but this time she didn't run to the bathroom to throw up. Robert, having put the food on the table, gave her cup of tea to his wife and then sat down next to her.

Robert: "Are you feeling better?" he asked softly.

Andy: "I think I'll be better after drinking the tea" Robert nodded.

Noah: "Can we all be together today?"

Robert: "Yes, but I don't think we could play outside, the weather is getting bad"

Andy: "In the afternoon we can all watch a movie together" and then she turned to Thomas. "We could watch a romantic comedy" she said with a wink at the boy.

Thomas: "I like your idea" he replied with a big smile.

Robert: "Can't we choose another kind of film?"

Noah: "Those movies are very boring"

Andy: "No, today we're going to watch a romantic comedy, but you two can have some extra popcorn, ok?"

Noah: "Deal"

Chloe: "Can Thomas and I pick the movie?" Andy nodded and then they continued to have breakfast.

Andy: "See? It was easy to convince Noah too, just give him some more popcorn" she told her husband giving a little laugh.

Robert: "And are you going to convince me too?"

Andy: "Mmmhhh.. I have to try to convince you?"

Robert: "Yes"

Andy: "Then look for a way to be alone and I'll try to convince you"
