Chapter 53

When Andy stayed at the station because the others had to go out on calls, most of the time Luke kept her company, but there were days when he wasn't present at the station and so she was left alone. One day when the team returned from a call, Robert thought he'd find his wife in his office or in his bunk like every time, but that time, she wasn't there. When Robert found Andy after a few minutes, he noticed that she was doing something she should never have done alone and he immediately became concerned. Andy stood up on a chair because she craved her sugary cereal and it was on the top shelf and she couldn't get it.

Robert: "Are you crazy?" he said running towards her.

Andy: "I didn't do anything" she said as Robert helped her out of the chair.

Robert: "You were doing something dangerous. You can't get on the chair like that"

Andy: "I just wanted some sugary cereal" she replied starting to cry. "They were on the top shelf and I couldn't get there, what should I do? Wait for you?"

Robert: "Yes" he answered of her making her sit on her lap. "You could have slipped and you could have hurt yourself"

Andy: "Okay, you're right. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you"

Robert: "It's ok now" he replied wiping her tears. "I promise you'll find all your stuff on the bottom shelves so you won't struggle to get things, okay?" Andy nodded.

Andy: "I love you"

Robert: "I love you too" he replied giving her a kiss.

Andy: "I promise I won't do dangerous things anymore, I don't want anything to happen to these two babies"

Robert: "Or you" he replied putting his hands on Andy's belly. "You are as important as the two of them" he said giving her a kiss on the cheek and then gave a little laugh.

Andy: "Why are you laughing?" he asked as he reached for a handful of sugary cereals.

Robert: "Because you, up until not too long ago, were always putting yourself in situations"

Andy: "And you saved me every time" she answered smiling.

Robert: "And I will always continue to do so, but I hope you don't put yourself in certain situations anymore"

Andy: "I already promised you just now" Robert nodded. "How was the call?"

Robert: "It went well. We rescued a kitten who didn't want to get out of a tree" Andy laughed.

Andy: "Are you serious?" Robert nodded. "Here, now I'm picturing you saving that kitten"

Robert: "I didn't climb the tree"

Andy: "It doesn't matter. In my mind there is only you wearing only your uniform pants while climbing the tree and saving a kitten" she said as he pictured the scene. "And I also imagine that you are very, very sexy and.." she bit her lower lip as she looked her husband into her eyes. "and now I'm very horny and I want to have sex with you"

Robert: "Mmmhhh.. you know.. could you come with me to my office.."

Andy: "And maybe you carry me in your arms as if I were a koala?"

Robert: "My love, I would very gladly do it, but this could be a bit of an impediment" he said stroking her belly. "And I don't want anything to happen to you"

Andy: "Are you saying I'm fat?" she responded by bursting into tears.

Robert: "I never said that. I just meant it's not safe for you and our babies to take you downstairs like that"

Andy: "Oh, okay. But now I don't feel like having sex anymore, I just want cuddles" Robert gave a tiny laugh.

Robert: "Okay. I'll give you all the cuddles you want and then I have to write the report of the call" Andy nodded and then kissed her husband.
