Chapter 46

One afternoon after their shift, Andy and Robert had decided to go to the mall so they could go to the jewelry store where they bought their rings so they could change the writing inside. After they left the station, they passed by the house and when the children saw them coming, they went to them.

Chloe: "Can we have dinner with you tonight?"

Andy: "Yeah, sure. What do you want to eat? So me and Uncle Sully since we're going out now, let's go shopping too"

Thomas: "Burger and fries" he answered happily and both Andy and Robert nodded.

Noah: "Can we come with you?" he asked with puppy eyes at aunt Andy.

Andy: "We just go grocery shopping and the mall for a quick errand"

Noah: "We can have fast food dinner then" he said as he hugged aunt Andy. "You know aunt, today you are more beautiful than usual" Robert gave a small laugh.

Andy: "Okay, you can come with us. But first, go ask your parents for permission, ok?"

Children: "Yesssss" they answered and then ran to their house.

Robert: "Noah really knows how to convince you" he said pulling his wife towards him. "And he's right, you are particularly beautiful today" he said giving her a kiss.

Andy: "And yet I don't feel that way. I am tired"

Robert: "But you're beautiful all the same" he said while his thumb caressed her cheek and then he gave her another kiss.

Andy: "I love you"

Robert: "Me too"

While they were kissing, the kids came back to them and so they all went out together. Thomas, Chloe and Noah were very happy to be together with aunt Andy and uncle Sully and once they got to the mall, Noah took aunt Andy's hand, Chloe took uncle Sully's hand aas Thomas walked among them.

Chloe: "Where are we going?"

Robert: "In the jewelry store. Aunt Andy and I need to add writing inside our rings"

Chloe: "And what do you have to write in it?" she asked curiously.

Robert: "The word "I love you'"

Chloe: "Wow"

Noah: "And then we go to eat?"

Andy: "I think it's a bit early to eat, maybe we can go to the shops?"

Noah: "If they're toy stores then fine" he said as everyone laughed.

Andy: "Okay, we'll go later"

Noah: "Yeah" he replied happily. "You are my favorite aunt, you know that right?"

Andy: "I know, you tell me that every day" she replied with a wink. "Besides, I'm your only aunt"

Noah: "I know, but I like to tell you" he replied smiling softly.

Once in the jewelry store, Andy and Robert asked to add writing to their rings and fortunately it took a short time for the writing to be added. As soon as they left the shop, Andy exchanged a kiss and then together with the children they entered a game shop. Each of the three children chose a toy to buy and then when they left the shop they looked for a place to have dinner. As soon as they found what they were looking for, Robert got in line to order food while Andy and the kids looked for a table to sit at.

Thomas: "When can we come to the station to meet you and uncle Sully?"

Andy: "Whenever you want" she replied smiling. "But you have to promise me one thing"
