Chapter 60

During the course of the evening they had turned up the volume on the karaoke and even though the others were very tone-deaf, nobody cared. At one point in the evening someone rang the doorbell and when Andy went to answer it, she noticed Ryan was there.

Andy: "What are you doing here? And how did you find out where I live?"

Ryan: "I didn't know you lived here. My colleague and I came here because the neighbors called us complaining about too much noise coming from this house"

Andy: "We're just having fun and the music isn't too loud"

Ryan: "This is not what we were told"

Robert: "What's going on?" he asked as he reached his wife. "Why is he here?"

Andy: "Our neighbors complained that the volume was too loud" she replied rolling his eyes.

Ryan: "Well.. it's not only the volume of the music is too loud, but they heard other strange noises as well"

Andy: "No one makes strange noises" she replied annoyed. "We're just having fun singing karaoke" she said getting nervous.

Robert: "You should go and sit down, you know it's not good for you to stand too long" Andy nodded.

Ryan: "Are you sick?"

Andy: "No, I'm fine. I just need to rest until the twins are born. That's why they're all here tonight. Can you leave now?"

Ryan: "We're leaving, but you have to tone down the volume of everything"

Andy: "Is there anything else? I want to get back to the rest of my family" Ryan shook his head. "Well. Goodbye Ryan" she said closing the door.

When Andy and Robert returned to their family, they told everyone they needed to turn the volume down a bit because the neighbors had complained.

Noah: "Did they complain that they sing badly?" he said pointing to Travis, Vic and Luke.

Robert: "Oh yes. Surely it's their fault" he replied with a laugh. "Now you're staying a little close to aunt Andy who needs to rest a little?" Noah nodded.

Noah: "Yes, I'm a little tired too"

Andy was lying on the couch and Noah moved next to aunt Andy. She felt tired and Noah started yawning. Andy cuddled Noah and the baby fell asleep within minutes and it wasn't long before Andy fell asleep too. When they realized that both Andy and Noah had fallen asleep, they decided to end the night. Andy and Noah were sleeping in each other's arms so Robert told his sister to leave Noah to sleep there with them and then when Andy woke up she would carry them both to bed. Once everyone got home, Robert put a blanket over Andy and Noah and then quietly sorted some things out a bit. While Robert was putting some things in the fridge, Andy woke up and when she realized that Noah was still sleeping next to her, she softly called Robert.

Robert: "Hey, is everything okay?"

Andy: "Yeah, but.. how long have I been sleeping?"

Robert: "About an hour" he replied sitting next to her on the edge of the sofa. "You and Noah fell asleep so the others went home and I told my sister to let Noah sleep here since he was hugging you"

Andy: "You did well" she replied with a small smile. "I'm sorry I fell asleep, I didn't want to spoil the evening"

Robert: "You don't have to worry, you didn't ruin the evening" he replied giving her a tender kiss. "You had a lot of fun this evening, you got tired and it's normal that you fell asleep" Andy nodded. "But now let's go to bed"

Andy: "Do you take Noah?"

Robert: "Yes, sure, don't worry"

Robert first helped Andy up and went upstairs and then while she was changing, he came back to get Noah. Robert then placed Noah on the bed between him and Andy and then, after changing, lay down next to them and both he and Andy fell asleep. During the night Andy had woken up several times and not to further disturb Robert and Noah who were sleeping peacefully, she went to sleep on the sofa. As soon as Andy lay down on the sofa, Lilli approached her so Andy made her get on the sofa with her. When Noah woke up the next morning, he noticed that he had slept in the bed with uncle Sully and aunt Andy, but she wasn't in bed.
