If you play with fire.. you get burned

Chapter 75

After Travis had done the group chat, obviously excluding only Andy and Robert, everyone was waiting for Travis to write something. They were all really impatient and Travis was having a lot of fun keeping everyone on their toes, but then when Elena and Eleonor texted, at that point Travis had to tell everyone what their next bet was going to be. As soon as Travis wrote down his idea for the next bet, a group video call immediately began.

Emily: "Do you know something that we don't know?"

Travis: "No, why?"

Emily: "Why do you want to bet on the gender of our next grandchild"

Travis: "It's obvious that sooner or later there will be another baby"

Emily: "So we have to bet first that Andy is pregnant?"

Travis: "Exactly. So when that time comes, we have already bet and no one will try to bridle" he said referring mainly to Emily.

Emily: "Yes, ok, I understand" she replied with a snort while William, who was next to her, started laughing.

Eleonor: "And you waited all this time to tell us about this bet?"

Travis: "Yes, I wanted to have some fun" Eleonor shook her head.

Vic: "But at the moment we should find another bet to make, who knows when this will happen"

Travis: "Right. If anyone has any ideas, please say so immediately"

Some had some ideas about other bets and once they decided, they then bet on Travis' initial bet and then everyone went about their day. At Andy and Robert's house, however, the day had started very early because Mila and Marcus had woken up very early that morning and seemed very intent on never sleeping again.

Andy: "How much energy do our children still have? They slept little, but they are very awake" she said as she yawned because she and Robert had slept very little.

Robert: "They have a lot of energy, but I'm sure they will soon be tired and will fall asleep wherever they are" Andy gave a little laugh.

Andy: "Lilli also seems tired of running away from them" Robert laughed. "What do you think if we let Lilli out in the garden so she can rest?"

Robert: "I think that's a good idea" Andy nodded.

While Robert tried to distract his children, Andy made Lilli go out into the garden and then joined Robert and their children. Mila and Marcus continued to look for Lilli, but then when Andy and Robert picked up a toy that made a lot of noise, the two children stopped looking for the dog. The game that Andy and Robert had got was a kind of wheel that turned and when it stopped on a space, it made the sound of an animal. Marcus and Mila really liked that game because every time the toy made an animal sound, Robert made that animal's sound again and the two children started laughing. However, sometimes Robert didn't make animal noises and both Marcus and Mila would scream until Robert made animal noises.

Andy: "They've already figured out how to make us do whatever they want"

Robert: "Oh yes" he replied with a little laugh. "But it doesn't matter, they are really very cute"

Andy: "Remember what you just said when they grow up and continue to do this to get everything they want"

Robert: "I know, but if they don't get what they want from us, they have two grandmothers and lots of uncles and aunts who will give them everything they want"

Andy: "These two children will be very spoiled"

Robert: "A bit like our grandchildren are, especially Noah. He always gets everything he wants from you" Andy started laughing. "I remember that time you tried to kick me out of bed because he only wanted to sleep with you"
