Wedding planning

Blue had managed to find his way up onto the bed, and you must have been gone longer than you thought because he was snoring peacefully beside Cloud and Melody. You took in the room and saw all the wolves were sleeping soundly, but it wasn't quite bedtime yet.
"So what was the idea for tonight?" you bit your bottom lip, looking at Bucky from under your eyelashes. You weren't adverse to having him take you in the bathroom again. He seemed to feel your lustful thoughts and he chuckled.
"Just wait right here," he instructed. "Close your eyes," he added quickly. You stood in front of the bathroom door and closed your eyes. You heard him moving around the room. You could hear fabric being ruffled before the fridge opened. "No peeking" he reminded you, just when you were starting to feel tempted. You felt like you were waiting forever. You heard the movement of some of your books and your ears felt like they were twitching with curiosity. You had no idea what he had planned. You could feel his giddiness through the bond, and you bit your bottom lip in anticipation. "Alright, you can look," he said after several minutes. He had his phone in his hand, and he turned on one of the lovesong playlists that you adored. You took in the room and saw he had placed a white sheet in the center of the floor with two glasses of what you knew to be cranberry juice off to the one side, while a large stack of the wedding planning books stood at the other with two pens neatly stacked on top.
"What's this?" you asked, a little confused.
"While the kids are asleep, we can work on our wedding plans" he gave a proud smile and you giggled before stepping towards him. You put your arms over his shoulders and gave him a lingering kiss on the lips.
"How did I get to be so lucky?" you purred to him.
"I'm the lucky bastard, and I will tell anyone who asks" he nipped at your bottom lip again, before kissing you once more. "It's not wine, but the closest I can get for you for now" he pulled back with a wink, taking both of your hands and kissing the knuckles on both. You walked over to the white sheet and slowly sat down, still feeling tender from your previous activities. Bucky waited for you to completely be down on the floor before he got down behind you, putting his legs on either side of your thighs and wrapped his arms around you. He gave your collarbone a quick kiss before he reached over and grabbed the juice for you to hold in one hand. He waited until you took a sip and put the cup to the side, and then he reached over and grabbed the first book on the top and handed it to you. You relaxed in his embrace, and leaned back onto his firm chest. You saw the first book was all ideas for venues and you flipped through it half heartedly. Bucky stopped you a few times and you both looked at the different and expensive places that you could hold it, but you scrunched your nose at it. It didn't feel right to you.
"Where do you want the venue?" Bucky finally sighed. "We could have it at the compound" he said with a hopeful tilt in his voice.
"What about the cabin? We can do an outdoor wedding, and have everyone come inside to eat" you offered.
"I love that idea" he kissed the back of your neck. "We can even have the wedding night right there before we go on our honeymoon" he chuckled.
"We can't be too long on our honeymoon, the pack..." you drifted off.
"I know, we can't bring them," he sighed heavily. "There's too much discrimination against wolves" he growled slightly.
"You're starting to sound like me" you joked, but both of you knew it to be true.
"Write it down in this book" he grabbed the next one from the stack, and you saw it was the wedding planning book. It was mainly blank, but had tabs for each of your selections. You used your best handwriting and put in that the venue would be at the cabin, for both the party and the wedding itself. "How do you want to decorate it?" he asked quickly.
"I don't know, it depends on the time of year" you shrugged.
"Let's go with autumn" he peppered kisses down the side of your neck.
"There's barely a month left for autumn" you giggled.
"With Tony's help, we can make it happen" he spoke resolutely.
"What if we just used some white chairs that Tony has stacked in one of the storage rooms, and put a dark blue tulle around the back of them, and have the end of each row with roses" you looked over at the red roses that he had sent last week with inspiration. "We can use red and white roses for the ceremony" you started writing down all the ideas in their appropriate spots in the book.
"That will save on buying chairs" he seemed happy about that. "I like that idea" he approved. "We need to have lots of roses"
"It's going to be an expensive wedding," you gave a giggle.
"I'm paying for it," he shrugged.
"No James, we both are" you started to argue.
"Once we have our bank accounts together, it will be both of us then. We should make an appointment with the bank to get that settled" he gestured for you to write that down. You immediately obeyed, adding the joint account idea as a side note. "How about navy blue as one of our wedding colors?" he asked a little hopefully.
"I love that idea. Navy blue and powder blue" you looked at him adoringly over your shoulder.
"Perfect" he kissed your cheek with a loud smack. You quickly wrote that down as well, not wanting to forget anything. "That means your bouquet should be red, white and blue. Steve should be so proud" he chuckled.
"No, just blue and white" you giggled. "I'll let the bridesmaids have red and white"
"That will definitely set you apart from the girls, besides the dress" he rubbed his hand over your lower stomach. You hummed happily, leaning back into him more.
"I think I want to go with the girls to look at dresses" you decided softly as he passed you another book. You opened it up and it was all dress and suit designs. "I kind of want them to pick out what would suit them individually"
"Who's going to be maid of honor?" Bucky whispered to you.
"Wanda" your face broke out into a smile. "She's always taking care of me"
"I want Stevie," Bucky grinned.
"We can just have the two of them stand with us, since all the pack will be standing with us as well" you looked over your shoulder at him.
"That's a good idea, the smaller the more intimate feel" he nodded approvingly. "Otherwise most of the team would be standing up there with us, and it might be a little crowded"
"Agreed" you sighed quickly, writing it down in its appropriate place. "I want mama walking me down the aisle" you added in a whisper.
"I think that sounds perfect," he nodded quickly. You wrote it down as well and you both sat back looking at what you had completed so far. It was good that you were both on the same page, and it was going to be an easy to plan wedding.
"Maybe have uncle Brad do the ceremony?" you asked, looking at him, wondering if you were pushing your luck too far.
"Can he?" he asked in surprise.
"Of course, he has his license. It's a little old, he might need to renew it" you bit at your bottom lip, wondering if he was going to fight you on this.
"At least when he asks who gives you away, he will be able to understand the whole pack saying that yes they are, along with your mom" he gave you a kiss on the cheek, understanding exactly where you were coming from.
"I'll have to call him" you turned in his arms and kissed his lips softly.
"I'm sure he won't say no. He seemed happy with the two of us" Bucky rested his forehead against yours in a loving gesture. He nuzzled his nose against yours, and gave you another kiss on the lips before you turned back around and rested back against his chest again. You both continued to look at the wedding books making notes on possible dresses and suits that you both would like. Bucky seemed to like the idea of a full suit in black with a dark blue vest underneath. You couldn't seem to find that in the book, but surely you could find it in a store. Alterations could always be made, right?
"Menu" Bucky gave a slight yawn. You had barely registered the time, and realized it was nearly bedtime.
"Let's work on that tomorrow" you put the books to the side. "I'll take the pack out" you decided.
"No, we both will. I'll just throw on some sweat pants and a t-shirt. You need something on your legs, I don't need to beat half the population at Shield to a pulp for seeing those gorgeous legs of yours"
"Deal" you giggled, quickly finishing the last of your cranberry juice before getting up. Bucky waited until you were on your feet before he got up himself and stood behind you. He wrapped his arms around your stomach, his flesh hand dipping to your lower stomach and rubbing softly.
"We have more to talk about" he whispered into the cusp of your ear.
"What about?" you whispered back softly, wondering if he was up for round two. You felt your body already getting heated at the thought.
"Not that, not yet at least" he chuckled. "Renovations on the cabin. I had an architect come up with some ideas, and I have them saved to my phone. Maybe we can choose what to do with the cabin since we have a larger pack and a little one on the way"
"Oh! Yes, of course" you blushed, making your way to the dresser and started pulling out clothes for both you and Bucky.
"Mama," Blue said tiredly from the bed.
"We are just getting ready to take you out baby" you cooed to him.
"I need to pee" he said quite frankly and you giggled.
"What did he say?" Bucky asked quickly.
"He needs to pee," you whispered as you slipped on your pants and one of Bucky's zip up hoodies.
"Come on pack" Bucky got dressed in record timing.
"Will the pups be safe?" Snow asked, just like she asked every time.
"We will bring them" you offered, going over to pick up two, and Bucky grabbed the other two. "They need to get used to going outside anyways" you added softly. Bucky led the way, while the entire pack quickly followed, you included, to go outside. You went to where there were some picnic tables and both you and Bucky set the pups down in the grass for them to get used to the feeling of it. Blue was running everywhere as fast as he could, expelling some pent up energy now that he had a nap. Jasper was quick to go do his business before he came back to the pups, giving Snow some space to go and do her business and have a moment to breathe.
"The pups should be starting on ground meat soon" you mused softly to Bucky who grunted.
"They are growing up pretty quickly," he readily agreed. You broke out into a laugh and felt a tear come out of one of your eyes. "What is it?" he asked with a grin on his face.
"Tony's grocery bill is just getting bigger and bigger" you shook your head. "I bet he didn't plan on that when he hired me." Bucky gave a good natured chuckle and kissed the side of your head in response.

As soon as the wolves finished their business, both you and Bucky picked up the pups again and carried them back inside. Blue had it set in his mind that he should be carried too, and Bucky finally gave in and picked him up, cradling two pups with his flesh arm, while Blue was in his vibranium arm. You couldn't help but want to coo at the sight of it. You loved that man to death, and he went out of his way to help take care of the pack for their every single need. You made sure to get the doors for everyone, only getting a few curious glances from Shield agents as you made your way back to the bedroom.
As you got to your room, you quickly put the pups back on the dog bed and got undressed out of the confines of your clothes. Bucky seemed to have the same idea, keeping his gaze on yours as he undressed and threw his clothes carelessly to the side. Your eyes licked to the bathroom and Bucky grinned in response about to lead the way.
"Mama, can you hold me?" Blue interrupted your thoughts. You stopped, and Bucky saw the look on your face.
"What is it?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Blue wants me to hold him" you bit your bottom lip.
"I guess I can wait" he sighed heavily, having been looking forward to round two.
"We both have to" you pouted, picking up Blue and going towards the bed instead. Bucky quickly turned out the light and you got into the center of the bed, while Bucky got in and wrapped his arms around you quickly.
"I love you" you whispered as you got your head comfortable on his shoulder.
"I love you with all my heart" he whispered back, kissing the back of your neck in response.
