Lovers to Parents (Bucky x reader)

Arriving home

As soon as the jet landed at Shield headquarters, you saw the second jet land right beside yours through the window. Bucky unstrapped you before you had a moment to even think about it and he picked you up like a new bride and strode to the back hatch.
"Hang on Romeo, I can walk" you giggled at Bucky. "The rescue mission was for you four. You need to get checked out too."
"Let me carry you, you scared me by showing up" he murmured softly.
"I've got the wolves" Steve went to Cloud and Jasper.
"They need a shower" you looked over, already knowing they were uninjured except for a few bruises.
"I'm calling the groomer to meet us at the compound" Tony immediately offered. "I'm sure all the wolves would like the extra attention"
"Is the other team back from their missions?" Steve asked, thinking about Sam, Peter, and Pietro.
"I checked in with their suits, they were on their way back to the compound when we were finishing up rescuing you, princess" Tony smirked.
"I'm sure Wanda will keep them appraised" Loki reached down and scratched Cloud behind the ears. Clint opened the back hatch and Bucky strode out with Cloud and Jasper quickly on his heels. The rest of the team quickly followed.
"We need to make sure Shield destroys the blood samples they took from Bucky and I," Steve said to Tony.
"Songbird took care of that. She blew it up" Scott chuckled to himself. "One guy wet himself"
"I'll make sure Fury knows to look for it" Tony took out his cell phone and quickly started to make a call.
It was nearly midnight by this point, and the only thing illuminating the pathway you were taking back to the large building were the bright spotlights coming off the building themselves. Bucky took confident strides towards headquarters, not doubting for a moment his footing. You nuzzled into the side of his neck, and when he got to the door he stopped for a moment and you reached out with your good arm and opened the door. Cloud and Jasper with their blood caked muzzles slipped into the building first seeming to still be on guard. Bucky put his foot in the door for a moment to wait for the others to catch up while Tony continued to talk on his phone. Once Steve reached up and grabbed the door, Bucky walked through and headed directly to the medical wing.
Doctor Cho was waiting with a few other doctors and nurses. She followed Bucky as he picked out one of the more comfortable looking beds and he laid you down. Doctor Cho grabbed the curtain and pulled it around the bed, as one of the nurses grabbed a paper gown for you.
"You need to get checked out too, Bucky" Doctor Cho reminded him as you heard the rest of the team being assigned beds.
"Not until I know the baby is okay" Bucky shook his head, a stubborn set to his jaw.
"Honey, they need to check my wounds first before they can check on the baby. Let them do their job" you gave a soft smile at him, and they could see him almost visibly melt.
"Check me in here" he sat down on the chair beside the bed. Doctor Cho looked like she wanted to argue, but you shook your head.
"Let me up" you pulled down the zipper on the front of your cat suit, and slid gingerly off of the bed. Bucky put out his hands and helped you pull the suit off, with the nurses and the doctor looking on. He reached behind you and unsnapped your bra and you stripped down to your panties, wincing every time you had to move your right side where you had gotten the most bullet burns as well as the bullet hole in your collarbone. You didn't bother putting the paper gown on yet, knowing they had a lot to get to and you hopped back on the bed again. Doctor Cho went to you immediately and set about her task of patching you up enough to go in the regeneration machine.

As soon as they were done making sure there was no shrapnel in your bullet wound, they did the ultrasound to check on the baby who was safe and sound. They were still growing a bit ahead of schedule, but otherwise were healthy. You put on the paper gown and were sent to one of the regeneration machines, while Bucky finally relented and got undressed and up on the table so they could look him over completely and take their blood samples.
While you waited for the healing process to finish, Cloud and Jasper came in. They started telling you about how they had both been checked by a vet to make sure that they were okay. You felt relieved although both men seemed grumpy about it. Cloud jumped up into one of the chairs, while Jasper stood at the scant opening in the curtain that separated you from everyone else and guarded your small room. You knew they were both dealing in their own way.
Bucky eventually made his way in, and he sat down beside Cloud until you were done. He double checked you over to make sure there wasn't a scratch left before he helped you put back on the paper gown. He even went so far as to get a second one to cover your backside as you needed to go back to your room for a quick shower and to change.
He led you out, carrying your blood soaked bra and stopped at the garbage can, announcing he would buy you another one and threw it out. It wasn't lost on you that it was likely the direction your cat suit took as well. He kept his hand in the small of your back, and as you walked down the long hallway he would glare daggers at anyone that dared look in your direction. Your hair was a mess, and both Cloud and Jasper were still full of blood. Bucky looked the cleanest out of the four of you.
When you got to the room, you quickly took off the paper gowns and threw them out before heading directly to the bathroom to wash off the dried blood. Cloud and Jasper both jumped into the shower with you, and to your surprise, so did Bucky. While you washed up, he washed the blood off of both wolves carefully. Once you were done washing, you switched him spots in the cramped shower and he washed up while you finished with the two wolves. Once you were satisfied they would be good enough until tomorrow, you jumped out of the shower and grabbed four towels. Bucky was quick behind you, and you both wrapped yourselves in the towels before working on Cloud and Jasper first.
Cloud audibly groaned as you hit a sore spot on him and you felt it in the bond, giving a small flinch. You cooed to him that he was doing a good job, and did the same for Jasper. Bucky seemed to catch on and whispered they were doing good to them. He seemed to be brooding a bit, and you knew why, but you felt you didn't do anything wrong. You felt it in the bond that something was wrong, and you wouldn't change a thing. You knew Bucky was disagreeing with your decision, but you really didn't care. He was in trouble, and nothing was going to stop you from rescuing him. Not even an army of Hydra.

After you had gotten dressed again, the four of you went back out to the jet to see that Nat and Bruce had taken a shower as well. Everyone else had just been waiting on the jet since they were done getting checked out at the clinic. Bucky kept his broody silence, but also always kept one arm around you or touching you at all times.
The flight back to the compound, it was obvious that everyone was tired from today's events, and it was getting close to sunrise. Even Clint was rubbing his eyes, obviously looking forward to going to bed once you arrived back.
As soon as the jet landed, all of you started to filter out of the jet and Wanda and Pepper were waiting on the back tarmac with all of the compound wolves with the exception of Koda and Cedar who were likely with Peter and Peitro, and of course the shadow wolf pack.
"We were so worried," Pepper exclaimed as Tony came out first.
"Daddy" Edwin howled and started running at Tony.
"I called and told you we were fine" Tony bent down to pick up Edwin as he got to him, and he closed the distance between himself and Pepper and leaned down to kiss her softly on the lips.
"Seeing is believing, Tony" Pepper looked him over.
"It's about time you got home, you four had us so worried" Melody came running over and she bumped heads with Cloud quickly before she nuzzled into his neck. "You should have brought us with you" she continued with her sassing.
"Not with those pups you are carrying around" you reminded her.
"Dear sweet Sam rubbed my ribs" Melody quickly continued. "He went to bed not that long ago"
"Mama, Papa!" Blue exclaimed from where Snow was making him sit still beside Wanda. He let out a loud howl and Bucky quickly went over and scooped him up in his arms. Wanda's hair moved slightly, and little Alpine peeked his head out.
"Papa" he meowed and Bucky reached over and took him, putting him on his shoulder.
"Thank you Wanda" you went over and gave her a hug.
"I'm surprised you didn't stay at Shield" she admitted, holding you close for a moment.
"Call it a sick day," you giggled.
"Week" Bucky corrected you with a bit of a grunt.
"He's still grumpy that I showed up," you whispered to her.
"You know how to fix that," she giggled.
"She got shot again," Bucky advised her. Wanda looked at you scandalized and you shrugged.
"It was the collarbone, and I was focused on finding my ma..." you started to defend yourself.
"Mate, I know. You look like you need some sleep" Wanda touched your cheek. You knew that moment that Vision had stopped off of the jet because her eyes went past you and a large smile went across her face. "My darling" she swept past you and you giggled as she ran into his arms.
"There's my Seraphina" Steve bent down to pick up the whimpering pup, who was sitting beside Zephyr. Clint was quick beside him to scoop up his pup as well.
"Come on, you need some sleep" Snow reminded you, bringing you back to the present. You had momentarily gotten lost in your thoughts about how many lives you had taken today with your guns and your abilities. It saddened you that you had done it, but at the same time, they tried to take your Bucky and the rest of your family from you. You knew you had a lot to talk to Sunny, the team psychiatrist, about. Snow nuzzled into Jasper's neck and sighed in your head and you smiled softly.
"Come on, lets go to bed" Bucky gestured with his head that he wanted to go inside. You quickly nodded and led the way back in.
