Epilogue

Nine months later::

"Doll, you shouldn't be carrying all this" Bucky growled at you as you tried to carry the groceries into the cabin. You were 20 weeks pregnant with triplets this time. He had stayed home with Rebecca to take care of the cleaning before the entire team was going to show up. He took a step back from being an Avenger, and now worked on the jets and helped with maintenance around the compound. You stayed strictly in the lab, and Tony had a daycare available for all the little munchkins in the building. There were less missions now, and Tony cherry picked the ones the team would take on, stating they were only supposed to be for emergencies and that Fury could reach out to him when a real emergency happened.
"I'm fine baby" you growled at him, but he came and took the bags away from you anyways.
"Mama's with our little Rose, you need to sit down" he instructed. You walked into the house and you saw Blue come running to you. It turned out your prediction was right. He was bigger than all of the other wolves, and stronger too.
"Mama!" he exclaimed, sitting at your feet to wait for a pat on the head.
"How was my big boy today?" you asked him sweetly as you ran your fingers through his fur.
"I guarded the house while the others went for their walk. I didn't want to leave Alpine alone to guard the house" he told you quickly.
"I'm sure we were lucky for it" you giggled. You set down your purse and walked into the living room, amid all the dog toys, cat toys, and baby toys... you found mama sitting on the couch holding Rebecca while feeding her. She had thankfully stopped growing as soon as she was out of the womb, taking on a normal growth rate. When she was born she was seven pounds and five ounces, and you thought for sure you'd never have another baby again. But then Snow's heat happened and both you and Bucky threw caution to the wind. You already told him this time was the last time, but you both knew that was a lie. Doctor Cho and Bruce had been over the moon at the news that you were expecting again when you first found out, and almost convinced you to move back to the compound full time. Thankfully you had Bucky bring you back to your senses, thanking them in a politically correct way, but saying that the cabin was home too. Bucky didn't know they were triplets yet. You had just found out today for sure and you wanted to tell him in private.
You did end up taking your honeymoon in Bali and Paris. Although you barely left the rooms while in either place. The entire team and mama had been babysitting your pack and your baby. Even Uncle Brad came back for the occasion. He is getting a lot better with crowds, thankfully.
Nat and Bruce adopted a baby named Persephone, and she is the light of their lives along with Anastasia. They had also started looking at building a house close to you so they could raise her outside of the compound and Anastasia would have more room to roam.
"How was the appointment and grocery shopping?" Mama asked softly.
"Everything went good" you said with a hesitant smile on your face.
"And?" she asked expectantly.
"I need to talk to Bucky first" you shook your head. You knew she would be over the moon with the news. Your pregnancy this time had started out slow again, but now you were starting to grow quickly again.
"Talk to me?" Bucky came into the house.
"Yes, we need to talk" you said with a soft smile.
"Is it bad?" he asked worriedly.
"No baby, it's not bad" you promised.
"Good, I'll put this away. I just have the living room left to clean" he told you as he started making his way around the kitchen and putting all of the food away.
"I can clean it" you started to get up and he glared in your direction. "Okay mister, I'll leave it for the big bad ex avenger" you giggled.
"He's still an Avenger, he's just retired" mama chuckled.
"He's still fit," Billy said from beside mama. You looked down at your body, you had put on a few pounds, but Bucky loved every soft curve of your body. He made sure to make love to you as often as possible, and continued to praise you on how beautiful you are on a daily basis. You stopped going on missions before Rebecca was born, and now you spent most of your time in a lab.
Wanda and Pepper both had their babies. Wanda, a pair of twin boys (Billy and Tommy), and Pepper, a little girl named Morgan. Both Wanda and Vision's sons were enhanced, but by what it isn't clear yet.
Alpine did end up bonding himself to Rebecca Rose, much to Bucky's pleasure. He was worried that she would struggle to find her companion like you did, but the moment Alpine went into the bassinet in the bedroom after you were released from the medical bay three days later, Alpine chose her as a companion saying he had the best of both worlds. Cloud tried to warn him about what it meant to be a companion, but he didn't care. He said he was part of the family just like them now.
You rubbed your stomach and laid back on the couch, waiting for your turn with your baby. Her first words had been mama, and you knew that Bucky had a lot to do with that. He got up every morning before you and took the pack out before giving Rebecca Rose her bath, changing her, and giving her her first bottle before you even got out of bed. One word that Bucky had said quite a bit was mama in your absence.
You woke up every morning to a cup of coffee (currently decaf) and a chocolate croissant when you were at the cabin. You were still expected at the compound during the week, except this week. You're on vacation. Which is why you decided to have a bar-b-que and invite everyone over.
"Okay doll, I'm all yours" Bucky came into the room and he picked up your legs and sat down. You started rubbing your sore feet and you moaned happily.
"You did your job" you giggled, not sure how to tell him.
"Are they healthy?" he asked.
"Very" you nodded. "We are at 20 weeks" you advised.
"Did you get me a picture?" he asked and you nodded, pointing at your purse. He reached for it and handed it to you. You took out the three pictures and handed it to him and he seemed super focused on it, like he was trying to figure it out. "Is there more than one?" he finally asked.
"There are three" you confirmed.
"We are having three?!" He nearly dropped the picture. "You are never leaving me out of the ultrasound pictures again, I don't care if we have company coming over or not" he declared, pulling you up onto his lap more. You sat up and his lips quickly covered your own. It never got old no matter how many times he kissed you. You still felt like every time was as good, if not better than the last time.
"There's babies mama" Blue reminded you like one of the girls would.
"Oh hush Blue, let them celebrate. You have three new siblings coming" mama said with a huge smile plastered on her face. You could tell she was excited and trying to hide it.
"Mama, are you sure you're not a wolf?" Blue asked you.
"We are sure" you pulled back from the kiss, giggling.
"Please tell me you didn't find out what they are yet" Bucky asked.
"No, I'm waiting for my loving husband" you nuzzled into the side of his neck and he sighed in relief.
"Good, I don't want to miss another second" he kissed the top of your head. You sighed happily, feeling cocooned in Bucky's hold.

That night mama decided to take Rebecca Rose and Alpine with her back to her place for the night so you could celebrate after having everyone over all day. The pack made Blue go for a pack run with them and it was just you and Bucky in the house for a change.
"We are going to have to buy more cribs and baby supplies," Bucky told you as he looked online for everything the two of you needed. "We also need to expand the house and do some renovations," he added quickly.
"Baby" you said, pulling gently at his slightly grown out hair.
"Just a second," he said, looking excitedly at everything he could get online.
"Fine, but I'm starting without you" you said, taking off your dress and leaving it at his feet. He seemed to clue in almost immediately and dropped his phone on the table. You sashayed your way towards the bedroom, and stepped out of your panties and bra, leaving them on the floor as you walked. Within seconds he was on his feet and discarding his clothes as he made his way into the bedroom.
