Rescue

Clint, Nat, and Steve went and put on their discarded gear that was in a pile in the corner of the room while Bucky took a moment to just hold you while Cloud and Jasper held the scientist prisoner to the side of the wall. He looked down at you, and your suit left almost nothing to the imagination, and he took his flesh hand to run over the visible baby bump. He got down on his knees and kissed your lower stomach.
"You shouldn't have come," Bucky whispered in a raspy voice.
"Make no mistake, I will always come for you" you ran your fingers through his hair lovingly. "Now we need to move" you tried to bring him back to the present.
"You're shot, let us take point" Clint quickly pointed out.
"I'm also the one they are most scared of" you took a step back from Bucky and reached for the door.
"I've got him," Clint told Jasper and Cloud, who backed up as soon as he had the scientist's wrists in his hands. You opened the door and you heard shots being fired towards you. You saw Cloud and Jasper run out and began running at Hydra soldiers that were waiting in the hallway. You stepped out and let your flames take over your body again, and you threw a blast towards where they had stood lined up. You heard screams as you watched them go up in flames. Each of them stopped and started rolling on the floor trying to douse the fire but Jasper and Cloud were there waiting for their chance. You heard some of them scream again as the wolves got to them. Bucky came out behind you and looked down at them unapologetically, and ran over to secure some weapons, with Steve quickly behind him.
"Your call Songbird, I'm with you until my man needs his lullabye" Nat crossed said softly from behind you.
"I need to get back to Scott" you waited until the boys had enough weapons. They knocked out the soldiers that weren't dead, and the two wolves pranced to you as though they were proud of themselves. The flames from your fire licked the ceiling again as you took long strides back to the room that you had left Scott in. You saw him standing there with several Shield agents and a small smirk on his face.
"Shield is taking over the building," Scott said with a smile. "There's still lots of Hydra around, I wouldn't let go of the flames yet. Nice to see you guys again" he waved to the four behind you. "You should have seen how scary those two looked... Right. Probably a bad time to start talking about it" he bit back his additional remarks as you gave him a level gaze. The Shield agents looked alarmed at you just letting your ability go. Some of them you recognized from the hallway when you were working in the lab.
"Baby, it's okay. We have gear now" Bucky whispered to you.
"Not until we are out of here" you shook your head.
"I'm coming. Shield's got this" Scott hit his suit and you saw him jump up onto Cloud's armor that was looking well used at this point. You led the way out of the room while Clint left the scientist with the Shield agents to bring him for processing once they were done securing the building. You started making your way down the hallway again with Cloud and Jasper at your side when you saw a few Hydra soldiers come out of a room and they had their guns trained on you. Bucky rushed in front of you with a loud growl and started shooting at them, not showing any mercy.
"Not my mate" he growled as they each hit the floor. You raised your eyebrows, and waited for a moment before you let go of your flames. Cloud and Jasper went to flank him on either side and he started leading the way.
"You don't know where you're going," you said a little gently.
"I will tear apart any man or woman that dares point a gun at you" Bucky stopped walking and waited for you to come up to his side. You took his left hand and started leading him back to the stairs with a little haste in your step. You threw open the door and Steve peeked out first to make sure it was clear. The blackened walls from your fire powers showing the way quite clearly.
"I'm going up first, I assume I can just follow the trail" Steve gave a bit of a smirk. Bucky walked behind him, and you went in the middle with Natasha, and Clint behind you. Cloud and Jasper raced past Steve on the stairs, their growls and barks filling up the stairway as they made progress a bit more quickly than your small group. You started to feel a little dizzy from the blood loss, but you knew there would be medical attention when you got back to the compound. The roar of the hulk was getting closer as you progressed up the stairs, and you heard a door open before two howls filled the air. You took a moment to look through Cloud's eyes and saw he was attacking another Hydra soldier with Jasper taking one arm, while Cloud had the other. You saw Scott become visible and suddenly the soldier was knocked back and his knocked out body was blocking the door from closing again. Steve quickly made it the rest of the way up the stairs, and Scott waited for you to get to him.
"You're getting pale songbird" he whispered to you, and Bucky looked back sharply.
"We need to get them out of here, worry about me later" you said while you shook your head.
"I'm still following the burn trail" Steve saw the worry etched on Bucky's face. He led the way out and the hallways were just chaos, with Shield operatives taking down Hydra soldiers, scientists and operatives. The sound of cement, glass and metal being abused, shattered and crumbled nearly outweighed the screams and yells for retribution. Bucky held your hand with his left as he followed Steve blindly, who was only following the trail of scorched cement until they saw what was left of the front door in front of them. Steve checked the outside and saw Loki was gleefully goading on the Hulk to continue destroying the building, while Thor was helping with the arrests. Tony flew down from the skies and pulled back his face visor looking over the six of you.
"Update?" Tony looked at you and Scott.
"Firewolf had some of them pee their pants, it was great" Scott said with glee. "Also, Shield is starting to take over the basement. I think we made our point" he added quickly.
"You got hurt" Tony looked at you disapprovingly.
"Yell at me later, I want to get them back to the jet" you gave a small smirk.
"Okay team, Scotts right. We've made our point, let's leave the rest to Shield" Tony said into comms.
"Oh come on, we were having fun" Loki openly sulked about it.
"Looks like it's time for my lullabye" Nat started making her way to where she could hear the Hulk destroying more of the building. You all audibly heard the Hulk say "Gingersnap", and suddenly the crashing and thrashing stopped. A visibly relieved Bruce suddenly became visible as he came around the corner with his arm around Nat's shoulder's. Thor got up and started leading the way back to where the jets were, and Vision shortly joined you after with Tony. Bucky swept you off of your feet and carried you into one of the jets with Cloud and Jasper close behind him.
"I need the med kit" Bucky looked at Scott who nodded, but you grabbed Bucky by both sides of his face.
"Don't you ever get taken again" you ordered him, and he looked at you with his face full of concern.
"I don't plan on it. Let me take care of you" he set you down in one of the seats while Scott came over to him with one of the med kits.
"Doctor Cho is waiting back at Shield headquarters for us. She's going to be in good hands" Tony promised as he recalled his suit.
"We will take the other jet so both of them make it home" Vision spoke for himself, Thor and Loki. Steve and Clint got Cloud and Jasper strapped in before Clint took the pilot chair. Bucky started disinfecting your wounds before Steve grabbed him to sit down beside you and strap in. He hurriedly strapped in and turned his attention back to you.
"How are you feeling, Bruce?" you turned to him, grabbing Bucky's hand and holding it still beside you. You weren't feeling that great, but at the same time you were relieved you had your family back.
"Probably as good as you," Bruce smirked. "I'm calling in sick tomorrow" he chuckled, and gave Nat a kiss on the side of her head. She preened under the attention, and turned her head to give him a quick kiss on the lips.
"How about the week?" she asked a little hopefully.
"I think we all earned that," Tony nodded.
"What about the serum?" you asked in a bit of alarm, thinking they had really messed it up last time.
"That's their problem. We can make it at home, you got it started. That's all that matters" Tony shrugged.
"I need you at home for a few day's doll" Bucky whispered to you.
"That and you have a wedding to get prepared for" Tony added quickly.
"Mama and Uncle Brad are coming soon too" you bit your bottom lip while deep in thought. You wanted to supervise the rest of the serum being made because you didn't want room for error. At the same time, you didn't want to let Bucky out of your sights again. You moved slightly in your seat and you felt warm blood come out of the wound on your shoulder and you hissed at the sensation. "Give me something else to think about" you said hurriedly as the jet hit turbulence.
"Your suit is getting too small," Scott said and looked like he quickly regretted it. "You shouldn't be in one at all to be honest"
"I'm surprised she squeezed into it," Nat chuckled. "Your breasts look great in it."
"Her ass looks great in it" Bucky quickly agreed. "You just took such a big risk..." he trailed off and was quickly shut up by the pained look on Tony's face.
"I learned something the hard way, nothing comes between Y/N and her pack or her mate" Tony reminded him.
"I agree, it was a careless risk" Thor seemed deep in thought.
"I needed my Bucky back" you shrugged.
"She did cut through them like butter, it was glorious" Loki smirked. "I've seen seasoned warriors with less finesse"
"I just wanted my Bucky bear" you cooed to Bucky who brought your hand up to his lips and gave it a gentle kiss.
