Lovers to Parents (Bucky x reader)

"Thirty six weeks" Doctor Cho announced on Tuesday morning. "It's a miracle you are still standing, growing this quickly" she sighed. "Any changes?" she asked expectantly.
"Much higher sex drive" you giggled.
"Midnight cravings," Bucky added. "Mainly meat and chocolate covered strawberries" he added.
"She needs a balanced diet, you need to make sure that she's eating her vegetables as well. How often are you eating?" she asked.
"Maybe six times a day, probably more. I snack a lot" you flushed a little admitting it.
"And sex?" She was taking notes, most likely for the next pregnancy as well.
"As often as possible" Bucky grinned proudly. "A few times during the day, four or five times during the night. We get interrupted during the day" he said matter of factly.
"Is it exerting you too much?" she asked you honestly.
"No, I nap a lot" you shrugged, feeling weird talking about your sex life so frankly.
"What about the dizzy spells?" she asked.
"They happen more when I'm walking around," you admitted. "Bucky tries to carry me everywhere" you rolled your eyes.
"That might be a good thing," she decided.
"How so?" you asked.
"At this rate you might be giving birth anytime now, with the current complications you are already experiencing" she sighed. "I'm putting you on bedrest. You can still have your extracurricular activities, but I don't want you walking around too much. Stay in the compound and don't do any heavy lifting" she ordered. "Any changes I want you to call me and head directly here. We will get set up for your delivery as soon as possible" she started making several notes.
"This is crazy" you whispered, but Bucky smiled victoriously. "What about meals?" you asked, knowing Tony didn't like it when you missed meal time.
"It's too big of a building, you'll have to start eating in your suite" she said, her voice clipped. You knew she meant business.
"I'll carry you back to our suite, and bring you breakfast. You can sit in the living room" Bucky said softly.
"What about my little rose?" you asked.
"She's perfect, she's even got her head downwards the way she needs to be" she showed you on the screen.
"I hope she doesn't grow too fast," you whispered.
"We will be monitoring. It could be something to do with the pregnancy too. She might stop growing at such an exponential rate once you give birth" she tried to give you hope. "Did you want a natural birth, or..." she started to ask.
"Natural" you said quickly. "I've survived bullet wounds, I'm sure I can survive this. I don't want anything to stop me from going back to work" you said firmly.
"If you go back to work" Bucky said softly.
"We will talk about that later" you didn't have the heart to argue with him. "Because I'm going back to work" you said softly.
"Not for the near future" Doctor Cho advised you. "Your vacation might end, but you are not going back to work" she shook her head. "Baby first," she said.
"Yes, baby first" you quickly agreed.
"I'm sending an email to both Tony and Steve. Bedrest, okay?" she asked.
"Bedrest" you agreed. She cleaned off the transmission gel and pulled your shirt down to cover you again. Bucky scooped you up in his arms and you squealed in surprise. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and he carried you with ease back to your suite.

The first thing you heard when you came in the door were little tiny howls and you cooed happily at the sound of them. Snow, Jasper and Blue who followed you in did response howls before the door was even closed. You could hear both Melody and Cloud howling as well in celebration of their children finally howling for the first time. Alpine meowed excitedly and ran to Bucky's pant leg and climbed up.
"It finally happened!" you exclaimed happily.
"Come on you four" you heard Melody say as Bucky came into the living room. He set you down on the couch and you ran your hand over your protruding belly.
"Where is my boy Sam?" Melody asked as she came out with her four pups and Cloud.
"We will get him. Baby, can you call Sam?" you asked Bucky. He took out his phone and called Sam and put it on speaker.
"What do you want, one armed wonder? It's early" Sam complained into the phone when he picked up.
"Just wait" he said with a chuckle, letting the insult slide. The pups started howling again and the pack howled in rejoice.
"On my way" Sam said, and you could hear him not even hanging up as you heard his feet pound on his floor. "Is that my girl?" he asked, and Melody barked in response. "I'm on my way, baby girl" he promised.
You went to get down on the floor with the pups when Bucky quickly grabbed you and put you back on the couch. Instead he picked up each pup and put them on the couch beside you so you could reach them. You knew he had a point, but you really didn't want them to fall. The four pups went to your lap regardless and you got to cuddle them.
"Meet Timmy, Tennessee, and Jacob" Cloud said proudly and you cooed over the three males.
"Baby, their names are Timmy, Tennessee and Jacob" you told Bucky with tears in your eyes.
"We are waiting for Sam to name his pup" Melody advised you.
"She's waiting for Sam to name his girl" you cooed.
"I'm here!" Sam said in his phone before the door opened and Sam came running in with his t-shirt barely on, and just a pair of sleeping shorts and the shadow wolf pack on his heels. He hung up the call and finished putting on his shirt before coming over and picking up his pup from the couch.
"Sophie" he grinned, giving her a small kiss on the end of her nose.
"That suits her" you cooed.
"It's time we start taking them outside to learn how to use the grass," Melody said.
"Melody said it's time to start taking them outside," you repeated.
"You better believe I'm coming," Sam said, still holding Sophie close to his chest.
"Yeah, I'll take them out" Bucky gave you a kiss on your temple before taking the other three pups off of the couch. He put Alpine on your lap and gave Alpine a kiss on top of his head.
"I'll call Mama" you murmured to him.
"I'll go see her and let her know you're on bedrest. Maybe have her come down to visit with you for a bit" he whispered back, giving you another kiss on your forehead.
"Wait, bedrest?" Sam asked, not missing a beat.
"I'm at 36 weeks" you said, rubbing your stomach.
"Damn girl, it's only been four months," he said, confused.
"Supersoldier baby" you explained and he nodded.
"Yeah, and with his super semen constantly pumping into you. Don't give me that look, robo cop. We all know what you've actually been doing" Sam said as he headed to the balcony door. Both packs followed him to the door and ran out except for the three male pups. They seemed a bit more timid. Bucky picked them up and started sassing Sam about what was appropriate to say around the pups. Their voices slowly disappeared as the door closed and you felt Alpine curl up on your belly.
"Mama, why can't I go outside too?" Alpine asked.
"We just assumed you wanted to stay inside," you said in surprise.
"I like being a part of the pack too," he said softly.
"You are a part of the pack, a very special part. I need you here with me, you don't want me to be lonely do you?" you asked.
"No" he purred.
"And I'll need your help when Rebecca Rose is born to take care of her. She will need all those cuddles you love to give, and your purrs" you cooed to him.
"I can do that" Alpine purred even louder, seeming pleased with himself. You pet him gently and waited a while. It was getting close to breakfast and you were getting really hungry. Sam, Bucky and both packs came back in and you held Alpine close to your chest as you stood up with some difficulty.
"Doll" Bucky set down two pups, while Sam set down the other two. Blue seemed overly excited and you couldn't help but notice he was really filing out. His fur was getting darker on the top and there was more white coming out in his chest and face. He was definitely going to be a big boy.
"I'm hungry" you growled.
"I'll go get Melody and Cloud their food" Sam saw an argument coming. He kissed Sophia on the tip of her nose. "I'll be back after breakfast to see you baby girl" he said with love in his eyes and voice.
"Baby, you need to sit down. I'll go get your food" Bucky said coming over while Sam walked out the door.
"I want to eat with my family," you pouted.
"Then I'll bring them all in here, but you need to stay on the couch or in the bed" he said, imploring with you.
"What if you carry me?" you asked.
"What if I secretly just want you to stay here with me alone all day while I pamper you and feed you all the food you want" he closed the distance between the two of you and he touched your cheek and kissed the tip of your nose. "Rub your aching feet" he peppered kisses along your cheeks. "Rub your shoulders" he nuzzled into you. "Take you to the bedroom and take care of your every carnal need" he nipped at your collar bone.
"Hmm.. i do have those," you said, your voice husky.
"I know you have a lot of those," he chuckled. "I'm all yours" he claimed your lips and your legs felt like jelly again. He gently guided you to sit down again and stood back. "I'll be back" he promised.
"Extra pickles and bacon please" you said timidly.
"I'm bringing you a tray baby, you won't be able to eat it all" he promised and walked out with the rest of the pack on his heels while Melody, Cloud and their four little ones played around your feet.
