Lovers to Parents (Bucky x reader)

A brief visit

The following morning Bucky had made you breakfast in bed, and the two of you made love again. Neither of you really bothered to put on anything besides your undergarments, since anything more would just be getting in the way of what you really wanted. It remained that way until Tuesday when you had to go back to the compound for your weekly check in. You had missed your companions, but you had enjoyed making most meals with Bucky in the kitchen. When Tuesday morning came Bucky had gotten out of bed early and made you breakfast again. The snow that had fallen on your wedding night had melted again, but it was terribly cold out. Bucky picked out some of your warmer clothes and one of his hoodies to wear to go back to the compound for your check up. You were planning on spending the day with everyone before coming back to the house to continue enjoying your honeymoon to its fullest. You were worried about Melody since she would be giving birth to her pups soon, and about Blue and Alpine who wouldn't necessarily understand why you were suddenly separated from them. Mama, BIlly, and Uncle Brad may still be at the compound, but you were worried that they were going to be too busy with the team rather than the companions.
You had a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs, pancakes, and a fruit salad before Bucky went to warm up the truck. You had showered when you woke up so it was just a matter of putting on your clothes. You went with the fleece lined black leggings that Bucky had picked out for you, and both the undershirt and long sleeved pink shirt before pairing it with one of his black hoodies. You put on your warm boots and grabbed your purse before heading out.
On your way to the compound Bucky stopped at Starbucks to get you your favorite caffeine free drink and baked treat, and himself a large black coffee. He drove slowly and sipped at his coffee while you happily drank your sweet treat back. You looked out the windows at people going from one place to another, and wondered if you would get to see the whole team today. You hadn't really kept in contact since leaving for your honeymoon and it had only been a few days, but you still felt a little out of touch.
Pulling up to the compound the first thing you saw was all the cars parked in their appropriate spots. Bucky pulled in and parked in your spot, and before you knew it your door flew open and standing there was Pietro.
"Princessa!" he said happily and he hit the buckle on your seatbelt.
"Pietro!" you giggled and he helped you get out of the truck. His arms wound tightly around you and he gave your cheek a loud kiss.
"We are so glad to have you home. Mama and Uncle Brad have been keeping us all on our toes. Mama even made me clean my room" he told you quickly and you giggled.
"Oh she did, did she?" you asked as he let go and you felt another pair of arms wrap themselves around your shoulders and you saw it was Peter. You gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and he pulled back with a grin.
"My room too, but she's been making us all these delicious meals. It's been so great!" Peter told you excitedly.
"I'm happy to hear it. How has been working in the lab with Tony?" you asked curiously.
"Tony and Bruce gave us our own lab to work on our own designs. It's been fun. He comes in to check on us a lot. We've been working more on lighter wolf armor so they are safer during missions. We even made a smaller one for Koa and Cedar to wear so they feel like they are helping" Pietro chuckled.
"They also started some renovations and Tony has someone coming in to do construction" Peter said, his eyes lit up. "All of our rooms are getting to be bigger"
"Tony says it will be done by the time you get back from your full honeymoon," Pietro added.
"Uncle Brad has been training all the pups and staying with them and Billy in the living room. He taught them how to play dead already, in case the compound ever gets attacked" Peter told you and you gasped in shock. "Don't worry! They think it's a game for now" he added.
"Alright boys, its a bit cold. We need to get inside" Bucky interjected. "Besides, we have a doctor's appointment to get to," he added.

The moment you walked inside you were nearly knocked off of your feet by Wanda and the pack. Alpine was quick to climb up on Bucky's shoulder, who was holding you by your waist worriedly. Wanda had her arms around your neck and was squealing with joy at the mere sight of you.
"Mama!" Blue howled.
"It's about time," Melody said a little grumpily.
"We've waited all morning," Cloud added.
"Don't mind her, she's been waddling around moaning and complaining" Snow advised you. "We miss you"
"Are you staying safe?" Jasper asked, but they were all talking at once.
"It's about time you made it" Wanda said after a brief hesitation.
"Mama, papa!" Blue howled again.
"Good to see you" Vision shook Bucky's hand. "I trust the honeymoon is going well?" he asked.
"Very well, we miss the team a bit," Bucky admitted. "And the family" he added, even though it didn't really need to be said. Wanda loosened her hold on you and stepped back. You surprised all of them by just getting down on your knees and sitting on the floor.
"Doll!" Bucky interjected.
"Let me see my companions" you shot him a glare and he huffed, but said nothing in return. Blue was first to jump on you, and you giggled, wrapping your arms around him. He pressed his forehead against yours before he started licking your face. "Oh I missed you so much sweet boy" you whispered to him.
"We missed you so much! Uncle Brad, Grandpa Billy and Granny have been teaching us so much new stuff. We get lots of candy if we listen. Where have you been mama? Why didn't I come with you?" He asked a load of questions all at once.
"Mama and Papa are making sure the bond is secure" you told him a white lie. "We've missed you. It won't be much longer before you are with us though"
"But mama! I want to be with you now. I can give up the candy" Blue whined.
"It's not about the candy" your eyes welled up slightly. You didn't have the heart to leave him behind again and you looked at Bucky who groaned outwardly and gave you a pleading look. You gave him your best doe eyes and he ran his hand over his face before he nodded. "Let me talk to Granny, and papa okay?" you told Blue.
"Tell Papa I'll be the bestest boy. I won't even come in your bedroom if you are doing adult things" Blue promised and you flushed before you burst out laughing and you heard mama's laughter reach your ears.
"How much have you been teaching him, mama?" you asked her, still holding Blue.
"Someone had to explain the really good feelings in the bond" Cloud told you. "It wasn't me"
"I told him it was adult things" Mama came over and saw that Vision, Bucky, and Wanda were looking between the two of you curiously. Mama quickly explained what was said and you saw realization dawn on Bucky and he looked shocked for a moment. Mama got down on the floor beside you and wrapped her arms around your shoulders before she gave you a kiss on top of the head.
"Hi mama" you said in a soft whisper.
"Don't worry, we run a tight ship while you are gone" Mama chuckled.
"She helped Vision and I reorganize our suite after she made the boys all clean theirs" Wanda giggled.
"And Uncle Brad has been teaching the pups quite a bit," mama added.
"So I've heard" you said while Blue was still cuddling into you. "Baby boy, mama needs to say hello to everyone else too" you whispered to Blue.
"No mama, no" Blue whined.
"Come see papa" Bucky came over and picked him up out of your arms and he immediately cuddled into him.
"Look out, big mama's coming through" Melody joked and came straight to you. You pressed your forehead against hers and she sighed as your fingers went directly to her rips and you started rubbing them. "Oh you sweet soul" she nearly purred. "Sam has been busy, he doesn't have as much time for me" she groaned as you hit the sweet spot.
"I'm right here my darling Melody" you cooed to her. She licked your face and stood still enjoying the treatment.
"Come here sweet girl" Mama coaxed Melody away who went to her automatically.
"We don't want to be separated again" Melody told you with some sass.
"We will talk about it" you said softly.
"Talk faster" Melody sassed.
"We missed you" Snow and Jasper said at the same time, both coming forward. They both pressed their foreheads against your own in unison. Once they were done, they pulled back and both started licking your face making you giggle.
"Oh I missed you guys so much" you said, wanting to tear up.
"We don't like this separation, it feels wrong" Jasper told you.
"I know what you mean," you nodded, agreeing with him. It did feel wrong.
"Come here kid" Cloud came between them and pressed his forehead against your own before he laid down on the floor and licked your belly. You ran your fingers through his fur and hummed softly.
"Okay, enough of that" Bucky interjected and set Blue down before grabbing you from under your arms and picking you back up off the ground easily so your legs were dangling. You squealed and he set you down on your feet. "I don't need you getting sick," he said with a grunt.
"You mean you don't want to deal with a sick me?" you giggled.
"If you are sick, our baby is sick. I can't handle that" he kissed you on your cheek.
"Papa, uppy!" Blue danced at his feet.
"You're going to have your hands full" Mama got up with help from VIsion. "I'll take the pack back to the living room with BIlly and Uncle Brad" she said, straightening out her long sleeved white shirt.
"Right, doctor" you sighed.
"I'm coming" Wanda giggled, wrapping her arm around your waist to help guide the way.
