Dancing in the living room

Bucky danced with you a majority of the night, never seeming to get tired of swaying around the room and putting you into turns and spins. He was in a great mood, finally having you home again seemed to make him almost overcome with joy. You were back where he wanted you to be, right in his sights. You were just excited to be home, and somewhere familiar again. Ideally, you wanted to go back to the cabin, but now you would need two SUVs to get the entire pack there. There simply just wasn't enough room for all of you anymore. It was nearly eleven in the evening when a polite knock came at your door and Bucky finally let you rest. You went and grabbed two bottles of water from the fridge while Bucky answered the door and the movers were there with several boxes. He welcomed them in, and told them just to put it all in the corner while the wolves all watched the movers like hawks. Blue chased after them barking loudly, but when one of them went to reach down to pet him he jumped away and ran towards you to be picked up again. You couldn't help but giggle, and held him close to your chest. The room was quickly half filled with boxes, and you couldn't recall having that much at Shield, but then again, Bucky had brought a rather large Amazon order with him when he had arrived. You both waited patiently for them to finish, and soon enough they closed the door behind them and left you both to it. Bucky turned and looked at you with a barely contained smile and wrapped his arms around you and Blue.
"It's so good to have you home" Bucky kissed the side of your head.
"I can't wait to sleep in my own bed" you sighed happily.
"The wolves need to go out before we go to bed" Bucky pulled back and gingerly took Blue from your arms and set him on the floor. Cloud and Melody barked at Blue to follow them, and to your surprise Jasper and Snow also followed, leaving the sleeping pups on the bed. Bucky took a seat on the couch and pulled you to sit up on his lap.
"How come you said they have to go out before bed?" you asked, a little confused.
"Doll, it's getting too cold for you to keep the door open all night. You can't afford to get sick right now" he nuzzled into the side of your neck.
"But I like sleeping with the window open" you pouted slightly.
"Just humor me until the baby comes" he whispered softly against the shell of your ear. "Let me take care of my family"
"Family?" you echoed, flushing slightly at the sound of it.
"That's what's right here, my family" he kissed the side of your neck. "You and the baby you are carrying. And all those wolves outside and sleeping right over there" he gestured to the pups.
"I like the sound of that" you gave a sigh, and relaxed completely in his hold.
"It sounds right" he gave you another soft kiss. "What do you think about getting a babysitter for tonight?" he asked with a small chuckle.
"Oh no Mister Barnes, I'm sleeping with my pack tonight" you giggled.
"I can't help that I'm insatiable when it comes to you" he nipped at your earlobe. You gave a soft moan and just basked in the attention. He rubbed at hand over your lower belly again, and hummed happily to himself. "Do you think Blue will be okay with a younger sibling?" he asked out loud.
"He would be a very proud big brother" you reassured him. "I just hope that the baby is set up properly to be able to handle a companion, or even multiple if it comes down to it. What if they are super soldiers like you are? What if they have my fire ability?" your brain started going a million miles a minute.
"You are going to be an amazing mom, and we will figure it out as it happens" he reassured you gently, rubbing small circles on your stomach. "We can get fire retardant sheets and clothes for the baby if they have your fire ability, just until we get it under control" he spoke softly, trying to keep you calm. "I'm sure your mama is going to be here for the birth of the baby, and we will have lots of help for the first while"
"Probably Uncle Brad too" you giggled softly.
"There's my dame" he kissed you loudly on the side of the neck.
"Cloud will probably barely sleep, and neither will you for the first few months" you mused, leaning back into his firm body again.
"That's almost a guarantee. I don't want to miss a thing" he peppered kisses up and down your shoulder and the side of your neck. "First thing's first. We have a wedding to plan"
"It almost seems like a shotgun wedding" you frowned.
"Doll, I just can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I don't care if we do it in front of the justice of the peace. But I think your mama would be heavily disappointed if we did" he reminded you.
"That she would" you gave a heavy sigh. "I like the small wedding we are planning" you gave a small smile.
"We still have to talk about the menu. I know there's some more family recipes that you haven't made for me yet" he flexed his arms around you.
"Oh, there's plenty of those. I want something everyone will like" you started planning in your head. "We could get a caterer"
"Only if they use your recipes" Bucky grinned to himself.
"You never told me about the architect" that reminded you he was supposed to have been in charge of that.
"I've seen two plans that I liked" he pulled his phone out of his pocket. He showed you the base plans, and it looked mainly like they were either extending the outside of the house to add additional bedrooms and making the main bathroom your private bathroom instead, and the other one they were adding a second floor with three bedrooms and another bathroom. You hummed looking at the plans but you wanted to know what Bucky thought first.
"What do you think?" you whispered.
"I don't want them taking away from the cabin feel of it, so I'm not sure" he admitted. "I think I like the second floor idea. They reassured me they would keep the exterior the same for us"
"Let's go with the second floor, but I want the private bathroom," you decided. "It's a mixture of the two"
"I'll reach out to them in the morning, and see what they come up with," he grinned. "They said they could start within the next few weeks. They have enough workers so they can focus on the project alone. I think Tony had something to do with that though"
"Oh, more than likely" you giggled. You looked up in time to see Snow and Japer came prancing back into the room with their tails wagging.
"I'm not on missions until next week, so we should also go set up our banking" Bucky didn't miss a beat. "That way we can start putting our salaries into a shared account, and update all of our bills"
"What bills do you have?" you asked in surprise.
"What's yours is mine, and I know for a fact you never turned off the utilities at the cabin" he chuckled.
"That's true," you sighed. "I have a lot of savings to transfer over" you mused.
"I have around ten million to transfer," Bucky admitted.
"Are you shitting me?!" you turned to look at him in surprise.
"I don't spend money, and the government gave me a lump sum payment for all that time I spent in captivity" he shrugged like it was no big deal.
"You don't need to be working at all" you felt shocked.
"No, but I want to do something good with my life. If I didn't keep up with the Avengers, I wouldn't have met my soulmate" he almost purred the last word into your ear. Blue came in next with Cloud and Melody on his tail and Bucky tapped the side of your thigh. You sighed and slipped off of his lap while Blue came over slowly, as though he was tired out from playing outside. You picked him up quickly, and held him close to your chest while Bucky went over and closed the balcony door. You led the way into the bedroom, and saw your suitcases were already emptied and put away under the bed. You went and set Blue on the bed, while you ran to the washroom quickly to use the facilities and to wash your face. When you came out Bucky was just in his boxers and holding Blue while sitting on the side of the bed.
"Are you just about ready for bed?" he asked, a hopeful look in his eyes.
"I just need to change," you giggled and walked into the closet. You quickly changed out of all of your clothes, putting on fresh dark blue satin panties, and a matching negligee. You came back out and Bucky broke out into a grin.
"Never gets old" he hummed to himself, looking you up and down. Your hair was falling freely down your back, and your two bracelets jangled on your wrist. You slowly made your way to the bed, turning off the lights on your way. Bucky stood up and waited for you to slide into the middle. Cloud and Melody came prancing in and jumped up onto the other side of the bed. Bucky slid in beside you and held his arm out for you to come in closer. You moved so your head was on his chest and he wrapped his arm around you. Blue moved so he was laying between you both, just to make sure he was touching both of you, and quickly went to sleep. Bucky only sat up enough to pull the blankets around both of you more securely and kissed you softly on top of your head.
"I love you" he whispered, and you whispered it back while feeling so full of love.

Waking up in the morning, you blinked your eyes a few times to take in your surroundings. You were still being held tightly by Bucky who had somehow pulled you completely on top of him during the night, and Blue had your spot in the center of the bed to himself. You gave his chest a kiss, and brought one of your hands up to run your fingers through his well groomed beard. He moaned softly in his sleep, but just held you tighter in response. You wondered if you really could pull off such a quick wedding, and if Bucky would be adverse to just spending the honeymoon at the cabin for now. You admittedly wouldn't mind traveling, but the thought of being away from the pack broke your heart. You hated the idea of it. Maybe later on you could take a honeymoon away, but right now you weren't ready. Your mind started wandering, and you began planning supper for the evening. You had never cooked for Loki or Thor before, and didn't know if it would meet their princely pallets. Then again, you had seen Thor eat an entire box of pop tarts for breakfast while at Shield and started second guessing yourself. You admittedly liked the sweet treat, but didn't know about eating an entire box for breakfast. Loki seemed more refined, so you had him more to worry about.
"What's with the worry wrinkles?" you heard Bucky's voice come out as raspy and you looked up at him in surprise. You didn't even realize he was awake.
"My mind was wandering again" you smiled up at him. "Nothing to worry about"
"Is it about the wedding?" he asked, hitting the nail partially on the head.
"Can we really pull it off this soon?" you whispered softly.
"We will," he nodded. "If you want, all you have to do is get a dress and show up. But we are getting married" he reaffirmed.
"Can we have our honeymoon at the cabin?" you asked gently.
"Of course, you don't like to be away from the pack anyways. We can go away somewhere later" he leaned up and kissed you on your forehead.
"Paris would be nice once the baby and Blue are both old enough" you smiled up at him.
"Paris it is," he nodded. "We have lots of babysitters, and your mom would probably want to be on rotation" he chuckled.
"Oh more than likely" you slid off of him and your feet hit the hardwood floor.
"Where do you think you are going?" he cocked an eyebrow.
"My bladder is screaming" you flushed. "I need to do lady things"
"I still remember when you were in heat, you let me join you" he grinned.
"That will probably happen again," you admitted.
"I'm looking forward to having more babies," he chuckled. "Two heats a year" he wiggled his eyebrows at you.
"We will never get on our honeymoon if that happens" you sighed and headed towards the bathroom. You quickly did your business and washed up. You thought about taking a shower, but you knew you would get food all over you while you are cooking, so you decided to wait until tonight for your shower. You came back out and Bucky was still in the same spot on the bed. The only thing that changed, was Blue was now in your spot on his chest and you gave them both a smile before you headed into the closet. You picked out your sunflower dress and one of Bucky's black zip up hoodies and came back out. Bucky grinned at the sight of you and sat up quickly.
"You look perfect for staying inside" he got out of bed, and went over to the balcony door and opened it up. Blue quickly squirmed out of Bucky's hold, and he set him down on the floor. Cloud and Melody both yawned and jumped out of the bed and headed out the door with Blue. Bucky quickly went back to the bed and quickly made it before he headed into the closet. He went with a pair of black jeans and a black t-shirt and came back out to run into the bathroom quickly. You made your way out to the living room and opened the balcony door there for Jasper and Snow who quickly decided to run outside and join the others. You sat on the side of the couch and waited patiently for Bucky to come back out.
"Are you ready for breakfast and doing some home made cooking today?" Bucky came out looking refreshed.
"I'm looking forward to it" you giggled and stood up to take his offered hand.
"I just need to bring back Jasper and Snow's breakfast" Bucky started leading you out towards the dining room, leaving the door open for the wolves for when they came back in.
