Lovers to Parents (Bucky x reader)

Bucky's fight

Bucky chased after the two other Hydra soldiers that had attacked you. He was livid they had dared touch you, and he was worried about the repercussions of you getting hit. Cloud fought by his side, seeming to be just as livid as he was. He knew he didn't need to have you translate for what Cloud was thinking. There was more at stake than just protecting you. Melody and Blue had been in danger as well. Bucky could have sworn out loud, he wanted to. They cut into his family time and disturbed his day.
He chased them to a long dead end alley and they changed their form to the half wolf hybrid and Cloud barely gave them a moment to think. He went for the neck of the man on the right, so Bucky took on the man on the left using his vibranium fist. Claws came out and scratched him across the chest and face as they fought. Bucky heard a yelp, and saw Cloud limp slightly on his front right paw, but quickly went back into attack mode. He felt like he had them on the ropes when suddenly Sam was there helping Cloud and Cloud took a few steps back, letting Sam take point. Cloud's muzzle was full of blood from ripping and tearing at the soldier's skin. Sam took something that looked like a needle out of his pocket and he jammed it into the side of the soldier's neck and he screamed out as he started reverting his form. Sam then turned to the one that Bucky was fighting and did the same thing with a second needle. Both men fell to the ground and Bucky punched the one he had been fighting, out like a light. He then turned and did the same to the other soldier.
"Bucky" Steve came running into the alley with Nat at his heels. "Enough" he saw Bucky going to punch the man again.
"They hurt my dame," Bucky growled out, barely making eye contact with his best friend.
"You can't kill them until we get information out of them" Nat took out two pairs of handcuffs from behind her back and went to the limp bodies, while handcuffing them as soon as she got close.
"Tony just confirmed, she's standing and he sent her home with Melody and Blue" Steve held up his hands, but Bucky looked almost like a rabid animal he was so angry.
"They hurt her Steve!" Bucky raised his voice.
"And they won't again" Steve said calmly, taking a few steps towards his best friend. "She's on her way home, which is where we are headed after we bring in the prisoners"
"I want to interrogate them" Bucky suddenly got remarkably calm, while a furious glint remained in his eye.
"No can do, I'll be taking point on this one. You were involved, and I don't trust you not to kill them" Steve looked pointedly at Cloud who was still limping. Bucky followed his gaze and he immediately went to the wolf and inspected his front leg.
"You're bleeding, Tinman" Sam pointed out as Bucky picked up Cloud. Bucky had barely registered the wounds but gave a soft grunt.
"How did Y/N get home?" Bucky asked, not acknowledging his wounds.
"The SUV, Tony has protocols that can have Friday drive instead" Steve reminded him softly. Cloud gave a soft whimper in Bucky's arms and licked his unmarred cheek.
"Cloud got hit by their claws" Bucky finally ground out.
"We are headed to Shield and will have him put in the regeneration machine, same as you" Steve assured his best friend. "And then its straight home to your dame"
"She had better not have lost the baby, or else there will be no safe place for these clowns. I will kill them" Bucky sneered at the two soldiers on the ground.
"I'll help" Nat shrugged as if it was commonplace to offer to do something like this.

Getting back to Shield headquarters, Bucky was immediately escorted to the hospital wing while he still held Cloud. The vet they had kept on retainer had come over to inspect Cloud, while one of the doctors that worked alongside Doctor Cho came to inspect Bucky. Both of them were cleaned up and put right into the regeneration machine. Bucky's clothes were basically ruined, and he was glad he had kept a change of clean clothes here at Shield. He put on the too tight Shield mandated uniform while waiting for Cloud to finish in the regeneration machine. Bucky looked over Cloud and took in all the blood showing on his fur, and knew immediately you would be worried the moment you saw it. He looked down at his skin and saw dried blood was visible on his arm and knew he wasn't in any better shape. He called to Cloud to follow him, and the pair of them went back to your shared room for when you were at Shield. Bucky stripped off his clothes as soon as he walked in the room and headed for the bathroom, calling Cloud to follow him. He got into the shower and Cloud dutifully followed him in. Bucky washed down all of Cloud's fur first before washing up himself. Cloud seemed content to wait patiently while Bucky made sure to wash all of the blood off of himself and double checked to make sure that he got all of the blood out of Cloud's fur. Bucky led the way out, and grabbed two towels, putting one around his hips first and then started drying off the older wolf, making sure he was as dry as he could get him in his thick fur. Bucky then took the time to dry himself off, promising Cloud that he would brush him after they got home again. He made his way back out to the bedroom and changed into a pair of black jeans, boxers, and a white t-shirt that he had left behind. He grabbed his leather jacket and put it back on, before checking his phone. He sent a quick text to Steve to find out the prisoners were still in processing, and he was staying behind to do interrogations. Nat and Sam were still waiting on the jet to be refueled. Bucky swore under his breath, not wanting to waste any more time in getting home. He made his way back outside and anxiously went inside the jet and strapped in Cloud before he strapped himself in. When Nat and Sam arrived, they didn't even look surprised to see both gentlemen were already waiting to go home. Sam just grabbed a seat while Nat went and took the pilot seat to fly everyone home.
