Jamey's POV

I watched Janis come from the side of the house and stop when she saw Wesley.

Intrigued, I couldn't help but wonder what she would do?

She looked ready to run, and I thought she might. Surprisingly, she walked over to the van.

I watched Wesley and Janis talk about the box she was carrying, and then Wesley jumped in the van.

A few seconds later, Janis climbed in after him.

"That's interesting," I muttered.

A minute went by, then two minutes, then five minutes.

What the hell were they doing?

Curiosity got the best of me, and I stood to see what was going on in the van, praying I wouldn't find Wesley and Janis naked.

I'd have to talk seriously with Wesley or kick his ass, and I was in no condition to do either.

Fucking Christopher, I let him get me drunk as he went on and on about Mary's friends.

Being here and watching Stephanie dance and run around in her little bikini was torture.

Well, pure torture in the best way.

I wanted her more now than ever, and I didn't see it happening tonight.

Janis appeared at the opening in the van, and I sat back down with a thud.

That would hurt tomorrow.

I watched my sister turn and float back towards the side of the house.

She didn't even see me. Her head was so high in the clouds.

"Jamey?"

Busted, I thought.

"Hey, Wes."

Wesley smiled as he strolled over to the porch and sat beside me.

"I didn't know you were out here," he said.

"You were a little preoccupied with Janis," I said.

"Oh... you saw that?"

I stared at him.

"What can I say? I like your sister," Wesley admitted.

I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Is that like a Lynch trait or something?" Wesley wondered. "Look, man, before you go all big bro on my ass, nothing has happened. We've hung out a few times and talked a lot."

"And kissed," I added.

"Um..."

"Look, man, it's cool with me. I like you, Wes. Janis seems to be into you too. Just don't hurt her," I said.

"That's not my intention at all," Wesley said.

"What are your intentions?" I asked.

Wesley chuckled.

"I don't know!" He threw his hands up. "I like her. I want to get to know her better."

"And you like kissing her?"

"That too," he said honestly.

I sighed.

"Janis would kill me if she found out we had this talk, but I say go for it, man. She deserves to be happy and hasn't been in a long time. But be careful. Janis isn't your typical woman..."

"I've figured that out," Wesley mumbled.

"...and if you hurt her," I warned.

"I won't, man!" Wesley swore.
