Wesley's POV

"Wes? Janis wants you," Jamey yelled from the patio door.

"Thanks, Riker," I said, getting up. I went inside. Jamey slapped me on the shoulder.

"Wes?" Stephanie started.

"Yes?"

"I want you to know the test she bought was for me. I thought I was pregnant, and Janis agreed to get me a test and let me take it at your place. She didn't tell you because I asked her not to. I was so freaked out and excited that I wanted to make sure I was pregnant before I told Jamey. The morning I was supposed to come and take the test, I woke up with my period."

Another mystery was solved. "Thanks for telling me that."

"I had no idea that she took the test or was pregnant," Stephanie said.

"Nobody knew she was pregnant," I said.

Jamey came over and put his arm on Stephanie's shoulder.

"You thought you were pregnant?"

She nodded.

"Can we go someplace and talk?" He asked.

"Sure," Stephanie said.

"Excuse me," I said, going down the hall to Janis' room.

I looked in.

Sabrina was sitting on the bed talking with Janis. Janis listened intensely and nodded every few seconds.

She looked beautiful sitting in that bed.

Her brown wavy hair bounced as she nodded, her brown eyes wild.

I tapped on the door. Sabrina and Janis looked over at me.

"I'll go," Sabrina said. "Take it easy."

She squeezed my arm on the way out.

"Shut the door, please. I'm done with people for right now," Janis said.

I chuckled as I shut the door. I stepped over to the bed.

"How do you feel?"

"Exhausted, naked and raw, like a live wire that is flopping around just waiting to hit something and start a fire," Janis said.

"Was it easier than last time?"

Janis looked down at the blanket on her bed.

The paper had to be almost forty pieces now, sat by her hand. She picked them up and let them sprinkle through her fingers slowly.

"It was easier the last time," She agreed.

"Good," I said.

"Will you sit with me?" She patted the spot next to her on the bed.

I went over and sat down.

Janis wrapped her arms around my torso, resting her head on my chest. She gave me a little hug. "Thank you!"

I hugged her back.

"Riker will make a call tomorrow morning for me about therapy. I will do whatever they suggest," She said.

"Good," I said, stroking her arm.

"Do you hate me?" She asked out of the blue.

"What?" I asked, shocked.

"Do you think I'm a freak?"

"No!" I exclaimed.

Janis sighed. "Can I ask you a question?"
